What have you done?..

'beep...beep...beep...beep''

The constant beeping of the heart monitor annoyed you enough that at one point it caused you to wake up

Immediately dragging in a large breath, almost in a gasping manner- your eyes shot open but you didn't move yet

You stayed motionless, not wanting to sense anything just yet- reflecting deep in thought of what had happened before you were knocked unconscious

Something felt lighter- you felt lighter

'no..' you clenched your teeth 'no no no..' you pouted, trying not to immediately tear up

You didn't want to look down at your arm, not wanting to face the potential of a missing limb being displayed to you

But your reflexes caught up to you faster than your self control and you looked- tilting your head down slightly since you were still laying down

"..."

'It's gone.'

You stared and stared, but soon realized looking won't bring your now missing arm back- nor give you answers

You frowned immediately after the shock wore down, not having the energy to cry- you just looked back at the ceiling

You fell into a numb state, you didn't quite now how to feel and it felt as if barbed wire was stuck and wrapped around your throat

You sat up, using your now only arm as support

A blank look at your arm revealed the bandage wraps, you didn't even have an elbow- the cut off was right in the middle of your bicep

A sigh left your lips since it felt as if that's the only thing you had energy or even the motivation to do

You then looked around the room quickly

Nobody was here

You found it quite strange that Alcina wasn't at your bed waiting, so you just laid back down

'I've had messed up dreams before..maybe this is just another one- yeah..it has to be' you thought to yourself

Using your right arm, you pinched at your hip to try and wake yourself up- but it didn't work

You were not dreaming.

Your jaw clenched up and your teeth immediately clacked together, your eyebrows furrowed angrily- but you were more upset than anything

"Why is this happening.." Your voice spoke out faintly

Footsteps we're starting to near the door on your right but you didn't want to see anyone right now, not even your lady, so you closed your eyes

The door opened gently, immediately feeling another presence entering the room

Not being able to tell who it was you wanted to look and find out, but couldn't be bothered or motivated to see

"Y/N? Are you awake?" A voice called out, it wasn't your lady's- so you assumed it was Klarissa, the doctor

You stayed motionless and silent- basically holding your breath

You heard the person enter the room further, you were right- it was Klarissa

She came in, checked your vitals, wrote some things down on your chart, took your temperature and then left without knowing you were conscious

A thought suddenly crossed your mind

'No..that's stupid- I can't'

But the more you thought about it, the more you were eager
