Your eyes parted from each other slightly, you were still half asleep due to it being the middle of the night

You moved your arm to the other side of the bed to wrap it around Y/N, but when you searched around she wasn't there anymore

This struck worry and confusion in your core, you sat yourself slightly up with the help of your forearm as your eyes slowly adjusted to the darkness

You looked over and confirmed that your love wasn't there anymore 'where has she gone?' You questioned to yourself

'I'm going to guess she went to get some water' you turned to the other side and turned on the lights, sitting up completely in the process

You yawned and decided to wait for Y/N to come back so you could both fall asleep together

A good 10 minutes passed before worry started to set in to your mind 'she should've been back by now'

You got up from the bed and headed towards the door 'It can't hurt to check the kitchen, just to see if she's okay of course' you then turned the handle of the golden doorknob and walked out, closing the door behind you afterwards

It was pretty silent in the castle, the only thing that filled the silence was your steps hitting the ground with your slippers

You glanced at one of the clocks on the wall as you passed by, the time was roughly 4:36 am

You sighed softly and kept walking until you reached the kitchen downstairs

You placed your ear on the door to listen if Y/N was inside but you heard nothing 'huh?'

You opened the doors to the kitchen and walked in, your eyes examined the room, it had zero signs that someone's been here at all

You walked in deeper 'there's no other place Y/N would be!' You started to panic slightly but tried to compose yourself as much as you could

You walked out the kitchen and closed the doors "Bela! Cassandra! Daniela!" You called out

Soon after, a swarm of flies appeared in front of you, dividing into three individual swarms, then turning into your beloved daughters

"What is it mother?" They all chimed almost in sync, they noticed your tense body language and immediately got struck with slight worry

You took in a breath "it's Y/N" you started

Their faces contorted into a bit more worry now knowing that the situation was about your love, and truly your daughters grew to be fond of Y/N, it made you happy

"I woke up and she wasn't in bed anymore, I checked the kitchen to see if she was simply getting water, but she wasn't" you looked at your three daughters while explaining "I need you all to search around the castle, call in some maidens to help as well, she can't be that far"

"Yes mother" Cassandra replied

"Of course mother" Daniela said in return

Bela simply nodded in an understanding manner

All three of them turned into their swarm and went on to start the search

Your breathing started to shake a bit as you were now headed up the stairs
