Kakucho's POV

We finally arrived at the warehouse where we held the lead hostage. With Sanzu, we met up with the Haitani brothers.

"You guys took so long." Ran said

"Sanzu had something to do so I waited." I replied

"Oh, Sanzu! How does it feel to get tased?" Rindou teased

"Do you really want to know?" Sanzu said in a serious voice and took out a taser gun.

"Where did you get that?" I asked

"From Koko's office" he said and chased Rindou who was running around the area.

"Kakucho stop that addict." Rindou said and hid behind me while pointing at Sanzu

"That's enough, we're wasting time. Let's just start the interrogation already." I said and walked towards Ran.

"Where did you put him?" I asked

"We locked him inside the cargo container." He said and led the way. When he opened the container the hostage was chained up.

They made him sit in a chair, still tied up and facing us.

"Talk" Ran said to the man who looked at us.

"Y-you said you'll l-let me go if I t-tell you r-right?" He said in a weak tone

"Yeah" Ran said with a smile. The hostage looked at us. Sanzu has his uninterested face, Rindou raised a brow and I stayed serious.

"Make it fast, we don't have all day" I said and he flinched.

"I-It's true that I w-worked as the 4th executive's right-hand man. W-when we the group was still active he was one of t-the most influential among the executives despite being the lowest." He said

"We already know that, stop stalling" Sanzu said and pointed the taser gun.

"Put that down and let him talk" I said.

"Is your drug order coming today? Why are you in a hurry?" Rindou said and Sanzu clicked his tongue.

"Don't mind them, just continue." I said

"He's the wealthiest man in the gang but they put him in the lowest because of his beliefs." He stated

"What do you mean?" I asked

"He doesn't use underhanded strategies when he deal's with his enemies. I won't deny that he also killed others but he isn't the type to use dirty tricks" he said

"WHAT BULLSHIT!!" Sanzu exclaimed

"Sanzu"

"YOUR FUCKING GANG WAS WORSE THAN OURS!" He shouted and the man was silent.

"You have to calm down" I said and he stayed silent with an annoyed expression

"You know that is unbelievable right?" I said to the man

"It's the truth, he valued his honor that's why I admired him." He said

"Then why did he even stay in your gang with people who have no 'honor'?" Ran asked sarcastically

"It's because he wasn't allowed to leave." He said and Ran raised a brow.

"Before he found and took me in, the gang was still a respected force because of the past president but when he died, the last president turned the gang into something worse. The old executives were either killed or forced to stay and serve." He said

"So, you're saying that he belonged to the 10th generation, initially?" I asked and he nodded

"The 11th leader was more brutal but no one would oppose him. Until the 4th executive did," he said
