There are two sets of numbers in Korean: the native Korean system and the Sino-Korean system.
Sino-Korean Numbers are used for:
ü 1. figures
ü 2. sums
ü 3. prices
ü 4. minutes and seconds E.g ( sam-sib-o bun (삼십오 분) means "__:35" or "thirty-five minutes.")
ü 5. saying the date
ü 6. counting days, weeks and years
ü 7. in place of pure-Korean numbers for amounts over 99 (and often for amounts over 40)
Pure Korean numbers are used for:
ü counting tangible, physical objects such as
ü potatoes, cars, people, tickets and cups of tea
ü age
ü hours
ü counting hours Counting objects

Guy’s para mas madali yung ka-kabisaduhin nyo lang sa SINO KOREAN SYSTEM NUMBER ay (1-10) dahil pinag sasama mo lang ang dalawang number E.g SHIP-I (12) which means SHIP (10) + I (2) = 12. Mag iiba lang sya pag dating ng (20) kasi nagiging SUFFIX na sya E.g SAM-SHIP (30) Which is SAM (30) + SHIP (10) = 30. ARASSO???
