Granger looked down on his silver pocket watch.

10PM already?, he thought, I should get going now...

Slowly, granger wrapped more bandages around his fingers and grabbed this violin bow. The wood of his violin was damp, and had some green stains on the handles.

It was quiet in the evenings, with the crickets faintly chirping in the background. This was his favorite place for some peace and quiet, except for the occasional demons running loose in the forest.

Granger carefully placed his instrument in his case, and used the gun on his right hand as a makeshift handstand to lift himself up. He rarely used his gun on the weekends, so his gun reminded him of the blonde demon hunter.

He's good for nothing...with a reputation as a demon hunter, he shouldn't be so careless, Granger thought.

The forest was damp, leaving a sweet, sappy scent in the area. Granger walked along the forest trail, taking in the clean air and appreciating the calm nature around him. He dreaded going back into Monastery, where all the people were nothing but rowdy barbarians.

Then, something caught his eye. A sword, reflected in the moonlight, leaned against a oak tree.

It was unmistakably Alucard's demon hunter sword.

"Can he call himself a demon hunter?", Granger sighed.

Granger had the worst opinion of Alucard among the Demon Hunters. He was reckless, only good at fighting without any strategical approach--which was the complete opposite of himself.

Shaking his head, he approached the large, glowing sword. With his free hand, he grasped the handle of the sword. How much would the merchants buy this for?, Granger jokingly considered.

Although Granger was not well-known among the Demon Hunters, he was exceptionally skilled with his shooting capabilities. Ever since he was sent to the Monastery of Light as an orphan, he had carefully saved his gold to invest in a nice home in the future. Looking at the sword in his hands, he had a strong feeling of envy emitting out of him.

"Must be nice to be rich..", Granger spit.

"Actually, I'm not.", a voice said.

Surprised, Granger whipped around to see the same man he had seen this afternoon. His hair shined in the moonlight. He looked out of breath, his hair a mess.

However, for some reason, he looked striking. Was it because of his delicate features?

Granger quickly dropped the sword in front of the blonde.

"This is what you want right?", Granger said flatly. He quickly looked away from the blonde, as he noticed he had been staring for far too long.

"Thank you, I've been searching everywhere for it....While we're on the subject, why are you here this late at night?", Alucard asked while flattening his ruffled hair.

"...This is one of my favorite places to be, instead of residing in the Monastery.", Granger said, and he wondered why he had told him this information.

Perhaps it was because of the luminous moonlight radiating on them. He felt vulnerable. His eyes could not make eye contact with Alucard.

There was a short pause, it was not awkward, but it felt like a short freeze in time for both of the men in the forest.

" It's getting late, shall we walk back to the Monastery together?.", the blonde said softly.
