Harper slowly turned her head to investigate the source of the sound, but to her surprise, nothing was there. Then she heard it again. That intimidating, bone chilling growl. She slowly walked towards the end of the hall towards the growling. The growling was getting louder with each step she took, and her heart was pounding more and more the closer she got. Then suddenly, a strange creature leapt from behind one of the walls, facing her. It....looked like a person...was it a person? Harper took a step forward. "U-um...hello...c-could you h-help me?" Harper asked with growing fear in her voice.

The creature was naked and had a skeletal figure, with long, oily black hair covering it's face, and it was on all fours. Harper looked at it's hands, which appeared to be...paws? She suddenly realized that whatever this creature was, it was not human. It continued to growl and inch closer to harper, and harper slowly began to back away. Then, the creature lifted it's head to reveal sharp teeth and white, lifeless eyes.

Harper continued to lock her eyes with the wretched thing. Suddenly, she broke eye contact with it and spun on her heel. She bolted through the hallway. The creature raced after her. It made barking sounds, as if it was some kind of dog. Harper turned a corner, her heart racing and adrenaline pumping through her veins. The creature stayed on her tail, and wouldn't stop chasing her. Harper's mind was racing with panic, and she was unsure of what to do. Then, her eyes lit up. She had an idea.

She turned another corner as the creature relentlessly raced after her. "Over here, dipshit!" she yelled. She turned the next corner and hid behind the wall as the creature ran right past it. Her idea had worked!! She made her way to another part of.....wherever she was. She slid down one of the walls, sitting down. She breathed heavily as her heart pounded. "What the hell was that thing...?!" Harper muttered.

Harper realized that in order to survive this place, she had to be alert and on her toes. There were god knows how many other monsters in this place, and they were set on killing her on sight. If she was going to get home, she had to be quick and smart.

Harper stood up with a look of determination in her eyes. She was afraid and unsure, but she was determined to survive this place, and whatever other horrors lurked within, no matter the cost.

She was going to escape this place, even if she died trying.
