Chapter 7
Misunderstanding
Adam , Alexander and Edward were sitting on the couch. They all are covered in the blanket of awkward air. Adam suddenly cleared his throat breaking the air. "uhm what were u guys doing in my room?" he asked. Curiosity was hiding so unwell in his voice. "actually, how did I ended up in my room, last time I checked I was in the hospital" Adam stated while raising his eyebrows "well... as bro-" Alexander 's words were harshly cut off by Edward . " well as a doctor it is my duty to take care of patients present in the hospital and you know you fainted in Alaric's ward" Edward stated as though it was obvious. "Oh" Adam nodded. "And about Alaric..." Edward 's voice trailed down. "yeah about him..." Adam stated. "When will we get the body" he started.
Suddenly Edward 's sudden question took him off guard. "Alaric? Body? What are you talking about" Edward asked in surprise. "Alaric died right?" Adam asked. "what?!" Edward asked out loud in surprise. Suddenly Edward started laughing. "As the doctor who worked with your brother I didn't know that he died" he said as he laughed again. Adam sat down in confusion . "wait what" he asked. "but yesterday..." Adam ' s voice trailed down. "yeah yesterday doctors made a mistake. He is still alive don't worry, its just that chances of him waking up just reduced a little... don't worry chances are never zero" he added after seeing Adam ' s relived face "so you are telling me that my brother is alive?" he asked. "yep" Edward answered. "I need to visit someone" Adam stood up, calmly yet his eyes looked like it was searching for something.He quickly got his coat and his keys.
As he took his fast steps to the door. Edward felt the air chilly. He quickly walked to Adam as he grabbed his arm. Adam quickly pushed him away " do not touch me Edward " he emphasized each word which took Edward off guard. "Edward ?" he asked as he placed a firm grip on Adam 's arm as he started to walk again. "What do you mean by that tone" he asked. his voice was a bit higher this time. It was followed by the rare form of bone chilling silence.
Adam stopped as he turned to meet Edward 's eyes. Unknown emotion in Adam 's eyes was creeping him out "Leave. My. Hand. Edward " he said through gritted teeth. It would be a lie if Edward said he didn't get scared. Adam 's normally deep voice changed. His usually gentle eyes turned dark. There wasn't a trace of normally jumpy and cheerful Adam . Even the aura around him changed around him. It was dark and scary it didn't suit him. Not even a bit. His stare was cold and murderous. Edward felt bis grip going loose. The moment his hand went loose Adam went out. The moment he went out Edward felt his heart drop.
