CHAPTER 9
THE GIRL WHO GOT AWAY
Edward slowly walked through the corridor follwing the song. Soon he reached a strange hallway. There was door. He pulled it open and let out a loud gasp. It was a library. He slowly started exploring it all the books here was dusty except one. He went near it and grabbed it. " authorised person only" read the title. He slowly kept it back and turned around but then the half of the library was going back and it revealed another room. He slowly walked inside feeling the door close behind him.Edward turned on the light to see a bedroom. It was not dusty. There were so many music boxes which was open , it was playing the same song.
He stared at it but shaked off the uneasy feeling and walked up to a potrait at the end of room. His eyes slowly started tracing through the picture. But his attention was snatched by a slow crying sound. He turned around to see a small girl. He kneeled in front of her. " hey whats wrong" he asked but the girl stopped crying. " run" she replied. " run while you can , please " she cried out." What?" He didnt understand what was going on " escape from this wretched place while you can " she started panicking and pushed him away. " from what , from who?" He asked trying to calm her down " from- from him" she stopped. A shadow emerged from the back. She widened her eyes looking at that shadow and at the same time a small tear dropped from her eyes.
"Hey" someone shaked edward. He slowly opened his eyes to see adam. " are you alright?" Edward slowly nodded but there was hundred questions in his mind. Where was he? Where was the girl? The question went on. " What happened?" Edward asked. " you fainted near the Kitchen" adam explained. Edward just nodded at this.
Thats when the potraite came into his mind. " hey uhm do you have any other brother than alaric? " he asked. Adam shook his head and said " no" Edward just smiled and nodded. Adam stared at him for 5 minutes and stood up to leave. Edward wanted him to stay but he couldn't speak up. Like that adam left.
Adam walked to his room angrily and slammed his door shut. He threw down his jacked in anger and ran his hand through his hair in frustration. " how did he find that room" he mumbled angrily falling back to his chair. "And now he leaves me with no choice" adam mumbled again, closing his eyes.
