Part 14

This is the final chapter.

Sunday, March 11, 2013, around 2:00 PM.

Iwaizumi's dad "Alright, boys, that was the last box."

Iwaizumi's dad "I will be driving back home now before it gets too late."

Iwaizumi "Thanks, dad."

Sugawara "Thank you, Iwaizumi-san."

Iwaizumi's dad "Bye boys."

Iwaizumi's dad closes the door behind him, leaving Iwaizumi and Sugawara alone in their new apartment.

Iwaizumi "Toru should be here soon."

Sugawara "Yup."

Sugawara "Let's unpack the kitchen stuff first so we can make some food."

Iwaizumi "Okay."

Iwaizumi kisses Sugawara's lips before they walk to the kitchen.

Sugawara "Next week is Toru's flight."

Sugawara "We wanted to stay together as much as we can, but Iwa-kun's university also starts next week."

Sugawara "So, he had to move to Tokyo."

Sugawara "But Toru's dad insisted on buying us an apartment."

Sugawara "Saying: that he always planned on giving Toru his own place after graduation."

Sugawara "And Iwaizumi's dad gifted us the furniture of the house."

Sugawara "That is so much."

Sugawara "And I wanted to complain, but both Toru and Iwa-kun said it was fine."

Sugawara "They are so spoiled."

Sugawara "Toru insisted, saying: that this is just an apartment and that he wants a big house."

Sugawara "So, what they gave us is nothing."

Sugawara "Spoiled brat."

Iwaizumi places his head on Sugawara's shoulder and hugs him from behind.

Iwaizumi "Why are you sighing this much?"

Sugawara "It -it is nothing."

Iwaizumi tightens his embrace on Sugawara's waist before he pecks his cheek and goes back to washing all the unpacked tableware.

Sugawara "Iwa-kun has found a job as an assistant gym trainer."

Sugawara "Even though he started his degree."

Sugawara "It is only a part-time job, but he will gain experience in the future."

Sugawara "And I took Toru's advice to become a teacher."

Sugawara "I will be taking the entrance exam for the education degree in the same university as Iwa-kun."

Sugawara "If I enter, I will start the next semester."

Sugawara "I am still searching for a job."

Sugawara "And I am getting frustrated that Iwa-kun will be taking care of all the expenses now."

Sugawara lets out another sigh, and Iwaizumi glances at him but continues his work.

Iwaizumi "..."

Sugawara "But I have a job interview tomorrow for a after school math teacher."

Sugawara "And my nerves are over the place."
