they sailed for about a half hour before they saw a port. is that the escaped slaves camp asked grace. im thinking so answered dan. they rose a white flag to indicate they werent disciples. they saw a small pier with people standing on it. WE COME IN PEACE shouted hilda. they look like liberators mentioned grace. well they must have left the dark city replied hilda. they stopped the ship just at the pier and the liberators boarded. so whats happened to where you have a massive ship full of refugees asked a liberator. grace told them about how the city had burned. the liberators where shocked but the story checked out. one of the liberators showed amy grace hilda and kade towards where they were staying. they were led into a massive hollowed out tree. it was as wide as a river and as tall as a skyscraper. how in merlins name did this thing grow asked kade. well a few incantations and a few more potions and we got her to where she is today said the liberator. the tree was absolutely gigantic. there were ramps that went around the tree with hundreds of small homes built into the tree. it was an amazing sigh. they were led to a small house witch hung from a beam. they entered and found inside a small but cozy little home. reminds me of the grampian lodge mentioned hilda. well lets hope its more secure replied grace. there where enough beds in the little house and a small sofa a bathroom and really all they needed. grace got in the shower and she felt wonderful. for the first time in weeks she was clean. how was the shower asked hilda once she got out. nothing less then bliss replied grace. after they where all clean they sat down to talk. wheres dan asked amy. he stayed with the boat i think said kade. il go down check on him said amy. she left and ran down the ramps and out towards the pier. where is devon asked grace. we didnt find him after we where caught said hilda. well if he was in that city i didnt see him said grace. well we should check here just in case suggested hilda. kade and amy decided to hang out and figure out how big the tree was so massive. grace and hilda wandered around for a while. the tree was warm and cosy but most of all it had clean water and food. grace and hilda stopped at a cafe. they relaxed over a cup of tea. it was wonderfull to relax and enjoy life for a second. after this they went outside the tree. the forests were wonderful and filled with beutiful trees. the warm summer air grazed there skin. there lungs filled with clean air. the smells of stunning oaks and gigantic redwoods. the animals darted around. the only thing more enjoyable then the forests were the cute cabins across the paths. as they walked they saw a small patch of beach across the river. they thought it looked amazing. they sat down and cloudgazed. after a few minutes they headed back. grace found kade and they bought some sandwiches and drinks. they walked out and to the beach. they sat down and ate their sandwiches. it was the first time in a long time they had been togethor. its nice here said kade. i could just lay down and sleep forevor replied grace. we've been worked to the bone but we made it out said kade. at what cost though mentioned grace. we didnt lose anyone said kade. my brother is missing and my entire family are dead but the conflicts not even nearly over replied grace. sorry apoligzed kade meaningfuly. as much as grace loved talking to kade they were a bore. she felt sort of pushed into the relationship. im gonna head back its getting dark said kade. il stay here and relax a little more said grace. they kissed and kade went off to the tree. grace just relaxed for a while. a boy walked over with his brother. they both turned their wands into fishing rods. and cast them into the river. you get any good fish from that asked grace. hell yeah responded the boy. this forests a paradise said the other boy. sure is replied grace. i like your hair said one of the boys. you dont even know her name and your already giving her compliments joked the other boy. grace felt embarrased. she got up and decided to go back to the tree. she got in and went to her little room. everyone was already asleep. she dropped down into bed.
