The Wolf Within

Alone

When I woke up I was human I was me again. I was a little aways from my house in the woods so I started walking, I was confused and I didn't understand why or how I changed. When I got home my parents were there and they saw me and ran up to me "thank god your ok, what on earth happened here!" Screamed my mom.
"Sorry I had a party and I must've fallen and hit my head and I passed out."
"Will talk about this later go in your room."
The next on Monday I went to school as usual but when I went on the bus my friend wasn't there which is weird she always on the bus, so I sat alone. When we arrived people were outside and in there groups the nerds sat in the grass playing with there science toys or whatever, then there were the drama queens and divas they were in there circle gossiping as normal. Sarah is kinda a drama queen but she's good at soccer and I pass the softball around with her so she's half in half but she usually following me to the jocks. We sit on the stairs of the school and talk about sports and make each other laugh. "Yo Jen over here" Jason was yelling to me, I smiled and jogged my way to him. "Hey sorry about missing your party last night I wasn't feeling so good"
"It's ok, I wasn't really feeling as good either" he looked at me in a sad way. "We have a test Friday did you study over the weekend, it's a big one" I frowned "no I forgot to with having the party and practicing for next season of basketball."
The bell rang and we went inside to our lockers. When I was in the hallway I saw Sarah "hey Sarah over here" she kept on walking as if she didn't hear me so I ran to her and tapped her "Hey you ok?" She looked at me in a sad way and said: "what happened yesterday everyone's talking about it." I was hoping she wasn't talking about the wolf situation but before I could speak she said "there was a wolf in your yard and it ran in your house! How are you still alive we thought it ate you!"
"No, I'm ok it was some big dog that was a stray we took care of it really"
"Are you sure because everyone kinda thinks your dead, you know what use this for your jock credit say that you beat up the beast that tried eating everyone! you could be a hero." Ha yeah, some hero that can turn into a wolf I thought but I don't think I should tell her right now especially with all this new credit I have somehow people actually believe that I can beat the beast. But yet I feel so different because I know that I'm different. I'm alone, I couldn't possibly tell anyone about this they'll think I'm crazy. As I walked away from the bus that brought me home I started wondering why or how did this happen? Did I actually turn into a wolf but how did I can my parents do that too? Can everyone? So many questions but so little answers. I walked into my house and went into the bathroom to see myself in the mirror. I look the same but I feel different. I feel alone, afraid, an outcast, different from the rest.I start to get frustrated so I walk off into my room.
