We watched the TV for a bit, until there was a knock on the door.
"Who could that be?" I frowned, getting up to see who was at the door. Peering through the peephole, I was shocked to see his face. My hands started shaking, as did my breathing as I entered the living room again.
"It's Harry."~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Trent's eyes widened.
"Tell him to fuck off." He suggested.
"He doesn't know I know anything's wrong." I pointed out. Harry knocked again.
"I'm gonna get it." Trent said angrily, getting up from the couch.
"You can't!" I said quickly. "I told him this whole thing was cancelled, remember? You need to hide. Go into my room." I told Trent, who nodded in agreement and entered my bedroom, which was towards the back of the apartment. I took a deep breath and answered the door.
"Sorry, I was in the loo." I lied.
"Oh, no worries." Harry smiled, leaning forwards to hug me. I responded, feeling rather uncomfortable. Harry stepped inside the apartment.
"Um, now's not really a good time." I told him.
"Oh, okay. I assumed you cancelled coz Trent couldn't make it anymore, but if you're busy then I can come back later and we can hang out then." Harry said.
"Um, I'm not really good for the rest of the evening. The reason I had to cancel was because I'm feeling under the weather." I lied.
"Oh. Well then I'll stay and take care of you." Harry insisted.
"No!" I cried quickly. "Um, I don't want you to catch my germs."
"I don't care, I love you and I wanna make sure you're okay." Harry said, leaning forwards to kiss me. I flinched, causing Harry to frown.
"Are you okay?" He asked.
"Germs." I reminded him.
"Don't care." He retaliated.
"Well maybe she does!" I heard from behind me. I squeezed my eyes shut. What. Is. He. Doing!
"Trent?" Harry questioned. "What the fuck is going on here?"
"Save it mate." Trent said. I gulped.
"You know what, I always thought you two were too close to be just friends." Harry spat.
"Is he being serious?" Trent said, laughing slightly.
"Deadly serious mate." Harry said angrily.
"Hypocrite!" Trent exclaimed.
"What!" Harry yelled.
"We saw you earlier, don't even try and deny it." Trent said.
"Saw me doing what exactly?" Harry asked, sounding quite annoyed.
"Maybe we should talk about this in the living room." I suggested.
"Okay." Harry said, walking the few steps from the hallway to the living room. "Let's discuss."
"In your car, near the bowling alley." Trent prompted Harry.
"No idea what you're on about mate." Harry shrugged.
"Harry I was there! I went up to your car to knock on the window and say hi, and I know your number plate so don't even try and deny it. You were on the back seat, kissing some other girl." I explained, feeling tears in my eyes. Harry stood silent.
