Melissa's POV

My head suddenly felt like it went into overdrive and I was living in my memories. and then it all made sense...

"or woman,"I finished.

It all made sense now. That bitch! She got my brother killed because she couldn't get him in bed with her! As soon as I get my hands on her she's gonna wish she had never stepped foot on this pack territory.

"L-liz w-what's wrong with y-your eyes?"Josh squeaked.

Shit! I lost control already and the guy looks like he's about to piss himself any minute now—if he haven't already done that.

"Ah nothing, nevermind that... it's just this thing that. You know what,never mind it's nothing to worry about."

"Bonus you definitely nailed that one Mel,"my conscience mused sarcastically.

"Shut up conscience,"I snapped.

But I said it out loud because Josh looked at me like I had two heads and a pitch fork.

"Did I say that out loud?"

"Yeah you did not honestly I'm freaked out,"he said nervously while fiddling with his fingers.

"Ok Josh this is very important so I need you to concentrate,ok?"I sighed heavily trying to calm myself down.

Josh did bother speaking but simply nodded his head as a sign of agreement but nevertheless he was still nervous n scared.

I simply continued my interrogation.

"Ok so when you were 'recruited',"I hissed in disgust but still continued,"the recruiter said he had a source. Do you have any idea as to who that person could be even the slightest bit of information can help so think carefully."

He sat there quietly for a few minutes that felt like a millennium, looking puzzled and conflicted at the same time until he finally looked up at me with something in his eyes that sent dreadful shivers down my spine

And I just knew it was her.
