Gift

"Are you ready honey?" Mun asked his only son. Sun just nodded. He looked uninspired.

Dien, who had just returned from the administration room, took care of Sun's hospital fees for several days of hospitalization. Demanding an explanation from the wife looking at the gloomy Sun. "What is it?" Dien whispered, getting a shake from Mun.

During the trip, Sun was not as usual. Usually even though he goes back and forth to the hospital, he is still cheerful. But this time not.

Arriving at the house, Sun went straight into the room and locked the door. Shut himself. Mun repeatedly knocked on the door, asking what was going on, but Sun didn't open the door. And only answered Mun's question from inside his room.

That was the only answer Mun got from his son, Sun. Mun was confused by his son's attitude. Because Sun has not eaten and taken his medicine since returning from the hospital. And it's been three hours. He was afraid that Sun's disease would return. Like a few days ago.

"Auntie? What's wrong?" Chun came to visit as usual.

"Chun- thank goodness you came. Sun won't open the door. Auntie is worried. Sun hasn't eaten and taken his medicine. Can you help aunty please?"

Chun nodded. He knocked on Sun's door. "Sun quickly open the door!"

"You go home Chun, I'm not in the mood to play." Sun shouted from inside his room.

"Who wants to play with you! I brought you something!"

"As for candy, I'm not interested!"

Chun sighed. This friend of mine is stubborn. "Okay, if you don't want to. But just so you know, it's not from me. Looks like it's from Kim. Your home security left this box with me. You want to accept it? Or should I throw it away?"

There was a running sound from inside the room. Sun opened the door to his room. "Come on in quickly! Mom, bring us some snacks and drinks, okay?" He immediately pulled Chun and closed the door again.

"Give it to me!" Sun stretched out his hand.

"Tsk," Chun looked at Sun resentfully. "You have no manners as a host. I'm a guest, you have to let me sit first. It's not all of a sudden that you stretched out your hand!" Chun grumbled.

"You don't need that attitude. Don't act like an important guest, Chun. Usually you always come into my room without knocking on the door and then you just sit anywhere. So don't act. Quickly give it to me!"

"Before I give you this box. You have to promise me. After this you will eat and take your medicine. You don't remember, a few days ago, your illness relapsed and you were unconscious because you forgot to take your medicine."

"I'd better go home! Take care of yourself and remember your promise to me earlier.."

Mun knocked again on Sun's door with a tray of snacks and drinks in her hand.

"Mommy will have the maid bring food for you. After that you have to take your medicine. Got it?"

"Yes Mom!" Sun said, behaving respectfully like soldiers who receive orders from leader.

Sun sat cross-legged on the bed. He looked at the box Chun had just given him. Wonder what's in that box.

Slowly he began to open the box. A necklace with sunflowers in it.

"Woah... Sunflowers!" Amazed by Sun, his smile was bright.

He then took the necklace and was surprised again when he realized there was writing hidden behind the sunflower.

"You are my sunshine......" Sun repeated.

And he remembered the promise he and Kim made. One day when Kim visits again, Kim will take him to Kim's tree house. And he couldn't wait for it.
