Travis looked at me. He looked uncomfortable.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"N-Nothing. I'm fine. Really." Travis smiled, but I could tell he was faking.
"Baby" I stopped. I hadn't called him that. "Uh- Look, I know there's something wrong. You can tell me. I won't judge. Ok?"
He stared at the ground. "I..... I can't tell you."
"Why?" I asked softly - trying to stay calm.
"I- I just can't. I'm sorry." He put his hand on my waist and I put my hands around his neck.
"Baby, it's ok. Talk to me. You can tell me." I said. "No one is listening." It was true. We were on the beach, but there were only a couple people.
"I know, it's just" he took a deep breath. "I went out with some friends and..... and...." he had tears in his eyes.
"What?" I stroked his face.
"I- there was a girl....."
I knew where this was going but I used my aspecting skills. I played dumb.
"What about this girl?"
"Her name was Lily...."
"L- Lily?" I asked. I took a step back.
"And she um....." He looked at me. He leaned close to my face. Next thing I knew, we were kissing. I never liked kissing boys, but with Travis, it was different. It was enjoyable. I never wanted it to end.
