Divine's POV
Once again, I woke up in a cell, I could tell it wasn't the same as the previous, it was smaller
Divine: Is this me getting grounded? Real mature of y'all!
I yelled hoping they could hear me, this was the 2nd time I had been ganged up on but it had to mean that I was doing something good, no one could beat me one on one
Divine: Dammit!
I yelled again gripping the bars tightly, I was angry, I now had to think of a new plan
Divine: (Doris died for you! How could you lose! Twice at that! You're useless if you don't win! Kallavan was at your mercy and you let Gushvin, GUSHVIN of all people! You allowed HIM to take victory away from your finger tips!)
I turned around and grabbed my head in frustration
Divine: (It's unjustifiable! And then, you managed to make up for failing to kill Kallavan last time, only to get stopped by some girl? A girl? Really? What the hell did Doris die for? Did you forget? Because you aren't trying like his death meant anything!)
I started pacing around in the small room while I kept thinking
Divine: (It was a 3 on 1, it wasn't fair!)
I complained
Divine: (What did you expect? Fights are inherently unfair, that's just an excuse!)
I said answering my previous complaint dismissing it merely as an excuse, I was enraged but I eventually sat down and lamented my situation
Divine: Alright, shut up, enough mourning! This is simply not the time
I yelled once again
??: Not the time to what? Whine about your losses? If so, I agree
Mocked a voice in the darkness
Divine: Of all the people... YOU, you had to be here, what do you want?
I said with venom oozing out of my words
Kallavan: You sound unusually bitter, Divine, do you hate me that much?
He asked
Divine: No, but you beat me twice, both instances had high stakes for me so I'm a little... Upset
I confessed, earning a smirk from him
Divine: Now, answer my question, old fart
I commanded, he laughed again like I was some comedian
Kallavan: It's pretty simple, really, I'm here to watch you
He said in a nonchalant manner
Divine: Watch over me? Whatever for? You think I'm stupid enough to fuck around and find out how easily I can be beaten for a 2nd time in a 3 vs 1?
