Eliezer's POV

Gaster: 2 months have passed since Téra n°1 went berserk but Kallavan, Culte and Eliezer handled the situation spectacularly, I believe they could take care of him again if something similar occured but so far it looks like that was a one off that he has no recollection of

Gaster explained to Kallavan, Culte, myself and The 5 Stars General, although he wasn't present in the room, he was on the other end of a call, I was the one holding the tablet, it was the only way we could contact him and even then we could only do so at very specific times, us being able to talk with him was rare, getting to see him was even rarer, it had been this way ever since he was given this rank, he was someone that even Culte couldn't just go kill in a whim he was just too powerful, not too much when it came to strength but in other ways

Gaster: However, I believe he still posesses the power he used and the moment he learns how to use it on command it could mean the deaths of us, we might be talking about a global threat, one not even Culte may stand a chance against

Said Gaster throwing a mocking glance at Culte, he must've thought that The General's presence would be enough to make Culte sit and bite his tongue like an obedient little puppy but he instead pulled out his Karambit

Culte: Oh I wanna hear that again, but up close this time so I can tear your throat out

He said as he rose from his seat with a knife in hand clearly with no good intentions but I pulled him back into it gesturing for him to be silent

Eliezer: Culte...

I whispered in a slightly irritated but also concerned tone

Culte: If I'm not strong enough, I wonder how Sans and Papyrus would fare

He said, Gaster's expression changed from smug to enraged and before he could snap back I pulled out my gun and pointed at him with it, his first instinct was to burst out laughing but he then remembered that I was one to use rubber bullets, non lethal but certainly painful and he realized he didn't want to play the stupid game and win the stupid price of going to Dr. Asa's place so he made the smart decision of biting his tongue

Culte: 2 can play that game, Gaster

He said now being the one that was smug but I wasn't about to just let him get away with what he had blurted out, it was insensitive and unnecessary, a true low blow

Eliezer: That was a low blow and you know it, Culte

I said to him with a hushed voice

Culte: Perhaps...

He replied not fully acknowledging that he had gone to far

Eliezer: You just made fun of his dead sons, sons you killed on accident but you should show some remorse

And I understood that Gaster meekly implying his weakness must've left a bad aftertaste due to how important strength is to him but still

Eliezer: We all know that you're the strongest

I said caressing his cheek, it was a bit difficult due to his mask getting on the way but he took it off

Eliezer: And there is no way you could possibly be weaker than that cheap copy

I reassured him with my hand still on his cheek

Eliezer: But you should still apologize to Gaster, you both used to be a great duo don't you want to go back to that?

I proposed

Culte: I'm good

He replied and this bothered me, Gaster and he had been friends in the past, they were great comrades during the war and Culte killed his children, which created a rift between them and he didn't care? He didn't even feel a sliver of guilt nor regret? I knew that he was fairly cold blooded and often apathetic towards things like death and suffering but this? They were friends once upon a time! I couldn't understand how he could be so nonchalant about this
