*The next morning*
Ashido
"Heeeey, how you feeling?" I asked Ochako as I sat down across from her at the table that morning.
Her eyes were closed as she sipped on tea. "Shhhhh...."
I giggled. "Hungover?"
"What was in that bottle?" She asked, dragging out her words.
"Mina's Secret."
"Why?"
"No, that's what it's called."
"Oh." She rubbed her temples. "How much did I have?"
"A good amount," I said, drinking my freshly made tea. "A few cocktails, and at least two shots."
She groaned. "I had two? I only remember having one..."
"What was the last thing you remember?" I asked, a little concerned about her reaction to the events last night. Would she freak out if she knew she made out with Bakugo?
"I remember... playing skat... and then dancing... and then... playing hearts... and that's it." She shrugged.
She seemed unfazed. Usually she would blush and wave her hands around in embarrassment. "You really don't remember?"
She looked at me. "Was there something I should have? What happened after that?"
Oops. "Um, well, we played hearts, and then Eijiro threw up so I called it a night."
"Okay." She nodded, then raised an eyebrow at me. "Why does it feel like something else happened?"
My eyes went wide. Dang it, I need to work on my poker face! "Well, it's pretty silly since we were all drunk! I won't worry about it. We all did stupid stuff."
Her eyes unfocused as she thought. "I ate all your rice crackers, didn't I?"
She was remembering some things. Should I tell her? How would she feel? I don't want to upset her. She's been trying to shut out her feelings for both Midoriya and Bakugo. This could really throw her off. "You did, well, half of them fell on the floor."
"Sorry, I'll get you more."
"Oh, no!" I waved her off. "I have two more packs."
She drank her tea.
I wonder if she was going to change her mind about dating. She said she wanted to focus on her training and to become a hero, but we are heroes now. Technically anyway. We got our licenses. What holding her back now? And who did she like more?
"Can I ask you something?" I leaned in.
"Hmm?"
"A while back, you said you wanted to focus on training instead of dating. You still like Midoriya, right?"
She perked up, blushing a little. "Oh, well, I-um. I haven't thought about that stuff in a while."
"We have our hero licenses now." I pointed out. "Would you consider going on a date?"
Her face flushed red, and she covered it with her hands. "Mina! I don't even-I've never been!"
"So?" I shrugged. "You're just hanging out. Instead of Ida being there, you two are alone."
She frowned. "I'm not ready for that stuff!"
The memory of her straddling Bakugo made me question that statement. "But you do like him, right?"
