The Perfect Christmas

It was the morning of Christmas Day in the household. A ravenette detective was holding a little supreme leader in his arms. They were both sound asleep until the noise of a small animal meowing was heard. The ringing of it woke up the purple-haired boy. His face lit up slightly when he saw the black ball of fur. He reached out a hand and petted her softly. The cat, Dice, purred happily. Kokichi smiled slightly then looked over at his still sleeping lover. He stopped petting Dice and gave Shuichi a small kiss on the cheek. The boy's golden eyes opened slowly and he let out a quiet yawn.

"Merry Christmas to you sleeping beauty," Kokichi teased.

"Merry Christmas Kokichi," Shuichi replied a bit sleepily with a small chuckle.

"Oh c'mon you can't be that tired Shumai," the liar pouted.

"Well, what if I am?" Shuichi asked, rubbing his eyes.

"Then I'm returning all of your gifts you Grinch," Kokichi said, sticking his tongue out at the detective.

"Fine, fine. I'm up,"

"Yay! Last one to the tree is a big mean ol' Scrooge," Kokichi yelled then he practically jumped out of bed.

The violette then took off sprinting. He reached the Christmas tree in their living room. But when he got there Dice was already sitting next to it licking her paw.

"Aww Dice you beat me," Kokichi whined.

The little troublemaker stuck her tongue out at him. Shuichi then came up behind Koichi and patted his head.

"Haha you're the Scrooge Shushu," Kokichi joked.

"Yeah, yeah. Ba humbug," Shuichi said a bit playfully.

Kokichi giggled then plopped down by the tree. Shuichi sat beside him.

Dice was swatting at an ornament between her paws.

Shuichi rolled his eyes and handed Kokichi a present from underneath the branches.

Kokichi snatched it and tore off the wrapping paper. His eyes lit up once he saw what was inside the box.

It was a two-liter bottle of Grape Panta. He immediately slid the cap off and took a sip. He smiled and wrapped his arms around Shuichi's arm.

"Thank you Shumai," he cheered.

"Don't thank me just yet, there's plenty more coming," Shuichi responded.

"Ooo I can't wait," Kokichi said happily as he handed a wrapped box to the ravenette.

Shuichi carefully opened it and lifted a My Chemical Romance hoodie. The detective chuckled a bit and smiled.

"Thanks, Kichi," he said.

"No problemo emo boy."

The next gift from Shuichi was old newspaper articles about Kokichi as the Phantom Thief. Kokichi's eyes sparkled slightly.

"Too bad the heist where I stole your heart isn't on these," Kokici pointed out.

Shuichi however shook his head and pointed at the article about the very first heist together.

"It's right there phantom thief," he stated proudly.

"Oh? So I've had it from the beginning. Well, then we both committed a crime that night. Cause the coinkydink is you stole mine the same night."

Shuichi smiled a bit at that.

Then Kokichi gave the next gift to him. The detective opened it and it was a blue magnifying glass.

Shuichi's face lit up and his smile grew. He planted a small kiss on top of Kokichi's head.

"Thank you Kimchi," he said happily.

"Aww stawp it. Don't mention it," Kokichi replied.

The seemingly last two gifts were still sitting under the tree. Dice stopped playing with the ornament. She then lightly shoved a boxed towards Shuichi with her head. The detective chuckled scratched Dice gently behind the ears.

"Thanks, Dice," He applauded.

"Good job Dice, being my little helper," Kokichi praised.

Dice nodded pridefully. Then Shuichi opened the last present, which ended up being his very own checkered scarf. On the inside, the words, "Partner in crime," were written.

His eyes sparkled the tiniest and he smiled genuinely. He immediately tied it around his neck, coincidentally very similar to how Kokichi does. He wrapped his arms around the little purple-haired boy and held him close. The ravenette then planted a kiss on top of the violette's head. The supreme leader blushed a bit before quickly hiding it.

"Thank you so much Kokichi, I love it," he said sounding so happy.

"Well, you're welcome Shuichi," Kokichi replied.

The detective smiled then handed the little leader his last present. Kokichi practically tore it open. It ended up being a dark purple emo hat. His lavender eyes sparkled like stars in the night sky. He then hugged Shuichi tightly, squeezing him excitedly.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you. Now we can listen to that emo shit you love together," Kokichi joked then placed the hat on his head. "Hmph no one understands me, it's not a phase."

Shuichi chuckled and said, "You're adorable Kimchi."

"Nuh-uh, I'm not," Kokichi denied while a light shade of pink adorned his cheeks.

Dice meowed loudly sounding a bit bored. Kokichi suddenly realized something then grabbed one more present. He put it down in front of the small furball. Dice tilted her head slightly and meowed a bit confused. Shuichi then opened the gift for her and it ended up being a mini mouse toy. Dice's face light up and she meowed happily.

The three of them played together with her until they all got hungry. Shuichi suggested that they watch a Christmas movie while they ate breakfast. So, Kokichi made chocolate chip pancakes and one plain one. Shuichi filled up Dice's food bowl. Dice ate her food joyfully. Kokichi then put the food on plates.

"Come and get your pancake Shumai," Kokichi called out.

"Alright, alright," Shuichi answered.

They sat down at the table and talked amongst each other while they ate.

Afterward, they watched a few movies. Those films ended up being, The Grinch, Nightmare Before Christmas, and Elf.

Later in the night, Shuichi could hear quiet snoring beside him. It appeared that his lover had fallen asleep in his arms. Dice was also asleep in the violette's lap. Shuichi smiled at his adorable little family. He carefully moved Dice onto Kokichi's chest. The liar instinctively wrapped his arms around the cat and held her close. Shuichi then picked up Kokichi bridle style. Kokichi nuzzled his head a bit into Shuichi's chest.

"I love you Shushu," he mumbled in his sleep.

"I love you too Kichi."

Shuichi then put them both into bed. He held Kokichi, while the supreme leader still held Dice close. The ravenette kissed the top of both of their heads.

"Merry Christmas you two."
