Everybody works hard for more 3 days and they find the weapon that was used to stab Mike around 57 kms away from the crime spot. The DNA test would take another day to confirm if it's Mike's. Finally the real criminal will get caught. ( I don't want to make it too long and boring about laws soo.. Lets skip it~)
ON THE DAY OF SECOND TRAIL.
Everybody gets in their seats and the lawyers started briefing their statements. Candice handed the evidence with the DNA tests of Mike's and the murderer's hand prints on it(his name is Elijah).
"According to the evidences, the respondent is guilty. The respondent is sentenced for 10 years in prison." this was the judgement given by the jury.
" In addition to, the defendent who assaulted a girl, is sentenced for 3 months in prison. Case dismissed." Raven started screaming in the court when she heard her brother, Elijah was going to be prisoned.
JASON'S POV
"case dismissed." the judge announced.
Raven's dramatic ass started yelling " NO! THIS SHOULDN'T BE HAPPENING! JASON PLEASE FORGIVE US!"
I got up to her and asked the security to hold her for just a second. She said with tears
" Jason... Please get us out. I'm sorry for what I did to you. I did that because I loved you! And I still do! " what did she just say?? I thought to myself and yelled
" RAVEN! Are you listening to yourself right now?? That's not Love that's obsession! It's a shame if you think that was love."
she starts to sob ughh I can't stand to see her fake tears. She was about to speak more but the security took her away. Good thing.
As soon as we got out of the court, I got dragged by my parents towards the car and they said
" Jason... We are moving out to New Orleans. Tonight." I was shook.
" wait WHAT!? WHY--" I didn't get to think or to respond.
"we are not asking honey. Don't you see what is happening?? That girl is dangerous. She has been prisoned for only 3 months what if she sticks to your back again after she is free?" mum was kinda right but shifting wasn't a good idea...!
"NO! Mum, I can't leave Allison!! I want to be with her! I love her! Please." dad kept his hand on my shoulder and said
" she is in danger because of you, Jason. Its for her safety too. It's better if we leave without informing anyone." it was too much for me. How can I just leave all my friends and run away? Dad added
" I know it's a lot to process right now but... This is for the best. Believe us."
I kept my head down as I was always obedient to them. I agreed that Allison was in danger because of me.
" Is it gonna be tonight...?" they bobbed heads in response. I looked at Allison once more. It was so windy. Her hair was all over her face. Her smile is.... Killing me right now... She looks beautiful. Her Hazel-grey eyes were sparkling from a far. I got up to all of my friends and said
"guys.. I gotta go somewhere right now. Soo... Catch you in a rebound!" and left with my brother and parents.
Dad said Mike was going to be shifted to a great hospital in the New Orleans. Everything was set. Tickets, luggage... But the main person was missing... Allison... My heart is so heavy. I miss her already.
Huff! I sat in the car with all luggage in a truck load and we left. Without anyone's acknowledgement. This is not the ending.
