"Come on George please? Why don't you wanna see us?"sapnap whined

"It's not that he doesn't want to see us it's just you snapmap!" Dream teased his friend

Dream and sapnap had been at it for hours trying to convince George to come to Florida and visit them, George kept coming up with bad excuses, but the two weren't giving up.

"It's not that I don't want to see you it's just that I've been really busy lately and-"

"Stop lying to us George we all know you do nothing all day but hang out with us and sleep, what could you possibly be busy with?" Sapnap interrupted

" I have a life other than hanging out with you idiots you know!" George laughed.

This was a complete lie though, his whole life was all just a balance between content and hanging out with his friends

"Are you sure about that George?" Dream said directly into the mic making the other two wince at the terrible audio quality

"Alright guys it's really late here I'm going to log off for the night, call you in the morning?" George yawned into his mic.

He logged off and collapsed onto his bed.

He began to think about what his friends were proposing. They wanted him to fly to Florida and visit them over the holidays, and George was tempted to except their offer. But he knew he couldn't...

He couldn't let sapnap and Dream see him like this, cuts littering his forearms and thighs, what would they think...or even do...

But what he was most worried about was dream, George had never questioned his sexuality before but then, he met dream.

Hearing his laugh made butterflies flutter in his stomach and made him stutter over his words.

He didn't know why talking to dream made him so flustered, but he still did all the same. He had managed to keep his feelings hidden, after all, they lived thousands of miles apart!

He knew if he was in the same house with dream his secret wouldn't last and it could destroy their whole friendship.

With all his thoughts swirling in his head, George couldn't resist only thing he knew to do in situations like this, he got out of bed and bent down to the bottom shelf of his nightstand

He grabbed the small, old pouch on the shelf and dumped out the shiny silver contents

He rolled up the sleeve of his hoodie on his right arm, pressing the sharp metal to his skin staring blankly at the blank spot amid the many red marks littering his forearm

"One last time..." he thought before slashing the blade across his skin...
