So that's what I did. I left the guild early the next morning before the sun had even come up. I packed as many apples, Oran Berries, Reviver Seeds, and Max Elixirs as I could pull out of storage. My treasure bag was stuffed! Then I walked to the beach, met Lapras, and sailed off to the Hidden Land as the sun rose. It was a beautiful sight, the rising sun sparkling off the still sea as we sailed through time. We made it to the Hidden Land. I knew I had a difficult time ahead of me. These dungeons were no joke. But, every time I was close to fainting, I remembered my reason for doing this. Arya. And that thought fueled me. My Brick Break suddenly packed a little more punch. My Force Palm could surely take out that Salamance (screw you Salamance. Why did you have to live in one of the most difficult dungeons?). I eventually made it through Hidden Land, Hidden Highland, Temporal Tower, and Temporal Spire. I had made it to the top.

I didn't even feel nervous to be honest. I was approaching Dialga, the giver of time, again. I felt something burning in me. Perhaps it was courage. But more likely, it was recklessness. I slowly but surely walked onto the roof of Temporal Tower. It looked much better than it had when I'd first been here. There were no pits in the floor. At the pinnacle, the time gears sat in their indentions, glowing beautifully. The spire was no longer broken and battered as it had been before. It felt like an area that was fit for Dialga.

And then, there was a great flash of red light. I closed my eyes against the brightness and the wind gusted so strongly that I almost lost my footing. Then, the ground shook violently below me. I knew that Dialga had flown in and landed in front of me.

Dialga was massive, but he didn't seem as big as I remembered him. He let out a mighty roar that felt like it was shattering my eardrums. "YOU HAVE DISTURBED MY PEACE! FOR THAT, YOU WILL GREATLY PUNISHED!" Wow, so much for a happy reunion, I thought sarcastically. What, no 'thanks for literally saving the world from the planet's paralysis that was partially my fault?' Geez, Dialga, get a grip. Dialga let out another roar, and I could tell he was about to start a giant battle, but I simply wasn't in the mood.

Just as he lunged to attack me, I yelled, "STOP!"

Dialga froze mid-lunge and said, "What?"

"You heard me," I snapped. "Get ahold of yourself. You're the controller of time, not a child. I'm not here to battle you, so get it out of your head."

Dialga was very, very still for a moment, and I braced myself for whatever was about to happen to me. His eyes flashed with intense anger. "YOU HAVE SOME NERVE COMING HERE AND ORDERING ME AROUND! JUST WHO DO YOU THINK I AM?!" he roared.

I sneered. "I know exactly who you are, and I know exactly what I said. I didn't come here to fight. I came to talk. Don't try to fight me, because trust me, you won't win." I was shocked with myself about how I was speaking, but I chose to ignore that for the moment.

Dialga seemed confused. He lowered his voice to a normal level. "You want to...talk? What about?"

Internally, I let out a sigh of relief. "It's about Arya. I'm sure you know what happened to her after we left here," I said expectantly.

"Yes, of course. She was from the future, so she couldn't stay in the past once her future was erased by your actions. I...I'm very sorry that you lost her. Even when you battled me in my primal state, I could tell that you shared a very close bond."

"Thank you." I was surprised at his sympathy. "Well, Dialga...I've...I've," I was having trouble forcing out the words. "Dialga, I was wondering if you could bring her back," I said quickly.
