[Timeskip to 5 minutes later]
"We are here, you can use the daycare pass" Starlight says
Gregory uses the pass, "Whoa..! It looks so cool in here!" Gregory exclaims
"You haven't even seen the daycare yet, this is just the entrance" Starlight explains. "But, isn't the rest of the Pizza Plex cool too?"
Suddenly Gregory see's a dufflebag, and begins to open the bag and read in his head, "I swear, if I see the prototype daycare attendant one more time I might lose it! She's only a danger to the kids, it was a mistake leaving her out to rot by the daycare! That Sun animatronic is lucky we are giving her a chance. Luckily, she can't come up to children. She's free to roam the Pizza Plex at night, but if I see her making a mess, she's scrap. -Irritated Worker"
"...Gregory? What are you reading?" Starlight looks over Gregory's shoulder but Gregory quickly hides the message
"U-uh- nothing! Let's just get going!" Gregory quickly rushes and sprints to the daycare door, leaving a confused Starlight behind him
The door then opens, and Gregory and Starlight immediately see statues
"...Who are they?" Gregory asks, getting distracted
'What..? I've never seen Moon's statue here before...' Starlight thought
"The Sun guy is named Sunrise, or just Sun, and the Moon guy..." Starlight shutters remembering her encounter with Moon. "the Moon guy's name is Moondrop, or just Moon. Sun entertains children and loves to make the children happy, and Moon... I don't know what he does, the first time I encountered him he tried to... I don't know.." Starlight explains and Gregory understandingly nods
"Sunrise only comes out when the lights are on, Moondrop comes out when the lights are off, which means its more dangerous to keep the lights off" Starlight explains further. "And Moon is.. way more dangerous and more of a threat than Sunrise is. Sun isn't even a threat nor dangerous. So, whatever you do, DON'T turn the lights off" Starlight explains
However, Gregory didn't listen to that part, because he's getting distracted again
"...Why isn't there a statue of you?" Gregory asks, Starlight being surprised
"Would you like to know my story?" Starlight asks and Gregory nods
(Prepare for a very long and well-thought out backstory of Starlight)
"Well, it started when I was created. I was created to entertain and take care children just like Sun, but when it was nap time, I would tuck them in bed and sing them a lullaby. I only knew this because Sun saw my blueprint and showed and told me about it. I was just a prototype. But when the workers had another idea for a Daycare Attendant, I was scrapped, thrown away in a dumpster near the daycare. I was probably there for three weeks until Sun was created and found me, all because of his curiosity. I don't know how, but he got an idea and decided to try to fix and repair me, but without my extra parts, there's no way that could be possible. He tried for so long trying to find parts, but that paid off. He was able to find parts, stored away somewhere that I don't even know, all I know is that he was very dedicated to fix me. He said he took a very long time trying to put them on, and even used a TON of glitter glue to fix me. When Sun saw that I was working and 'alive', he was so happy and kept jumping up and down over and over, to which I was confused until he told me everything. When the workers came by the Daycare, they saw me and instantly were confused and angry. I didn't know why. When Sun came to see what the commotion was about, he got in front of me and protected me. Then, the workers gave me one chance, and if I made a mistake well... I'm not trying to find out what happens. The workers said I can't entertain or anything, just live. I was very grateful for just that, but that's when my sadness grew. I saw all those kids pay attention to Sun, and all I could do is watch, or I would 'be in trouble'. Though they said if the children went to me, I wouldn't be in trouble. I was grateful for that, but regardless, no child came to see me. They don't even know I exist. But, regardless of that, I am very happy to still be here. Sun is my best friend and without him, I wouldn't be here."
Gregory just stares up at Starlight, trying to process everything. "Wow, that's a lot to take in, um.. I'm very sorry that happened to you..." Gregory looks at Starlight sympathetically and amazed.
"That's why they don't have anything of me, no merch, no plushies, no statue, nothing. They really wanted to forget me and go"
Gregory then hugs Starlight for what feels what could been forever
"Should we continue?" Starlight asks
"..Yeah" Gregory replies, still trying to process everything
"Gregory, do you want to go down the slide, or get in through the doors?"
"I think I'll go down the slide!" Gregory replies in a childish manner
Starlight giggles, "Okay, I'll go down after you"
Gregory goes down the slide and Starlight goes down after him
Starlight then hears a familiar voice
