'I do! I do understand, Dream! Stop acting like I'm a fucking dumbass!" George shouts, still crying."Just say you don't fucking love me and leave!" The rain starts to fall harder and harder.
Those words stung Dream. He had gone through weeks of mental anguish because of how much he loved George. He feels like it was all for nothing. Maybe he just hadn't done enough, given enough, been enough. George deserved more than what he was getting.
"I'm sorry," Dream apologized, barely hearing himself over the rain. "I do love you. I haven't been doing enough and that's my fault. Tell me what you need from me and I will do it." Dream starts to cry. "I'd do anything for you."
"Dream, I don't want anything from you right now. Just leave me alone." George storms towards the water. The waves had gotten bigger and it was definitely unsafe for George to be that close to the water. Dream would have said something, but he left him be like George wanted. Instead, he walked back to the car and waited.
The only thing Dream could hear in the car was the pouring rain. It was so loud and suffocating that Dream escaped into his thoughts. He could imagine George laying down sobbing in the sand. His cheeks red and eyes puffy. All Dream wanted to do was hold him and tell him he loved him. George would shake his head no and try to say otherwise, but Dream would shut him up with a quick kiss. But would that be enough?
Dream snapped back into reality with the sound of beating on the window. It was quiet, Dream hadn't realized that the rain had calmed down. He looked to his right and saw George soaking wet outside the passenger side door. Dream unlocked the car and let George in. It was a silent drive home.

Dream was in the kitchen with Sapnap. He had just gotten back from the beach with George. Dream had decided to give George some space and he let him get his shower over. He wanted to talk to Sapnap about the whole thing anyway.
"That..." Sapnap starts, "just doesn't sound right. You said it came from nowhere, right?"
"Yeah, I mean he didn't say what specifically made him upset." Dream replied. "It's not that big of a deal, I'm just gonna give him space like he asked."
"Ok, just don't blame yourself." Sapnap puts his hand on Dream's shoulder.
"I won't." Dream feels Sapnap pat Dream's back twice and then he walks to the living room. Dream leans against the kitchen counter and relaxes for a second. Then he hears a door open.
"Hello?" George says in a rude tone and crosses his arms. "What are you doing?"
"You said for me to leave you alone so..." Dream says, sounding not very confident.
"Oh, right." George walks closer to Dream. "Look, I'm sorry for how you probably feel. It's just that you didn't hear me out."
"Well, I beg to differ but thank you for apologizing." Dream didn't want to elaborate.
George leans against Dream with his hands on his shoulders and his elbows relaxed on Dream's chest. Their faces were nearly inches apart. George puts his hand on Dream's cheek like he had done several times before. "I want you to love me, like you mean it," George says in a low, soft voice.
"I do George, I love you more than anything." Dream replies in a similar tone. He sinks his face into George's hand and closes his eyes.
"God, you really can't get enough of me, can you?"
"Never."

Dream, George, and Sapnap were in the living room. Sapnap was flipping through the television channels to find something to watch. Everything on the screen looked boring and monotone. Dream was starting to feel slightly impatient. He looked over at George who was tapping his feet and changing positions in his seat every few seconds.
