Chapter 3

It's a good morning for everyone, certainly not for Albedo though. Albedo had stayed up all night trying to cram a weeks work into one night, not even a single wink of sleep did he get. He finished his last paper finally. He put his pen down and walked to the kitchen to himself another cup of coffee.

'Now all I have to do is send the paper work and I'll be able to get some sleep'

Albedo finished his coffee and went to take a bath and change. He chose a turtleneck with long sleeves and some long pants. He grabbed his paper work and glasses and went to the alchemist's office. While walking to the office he had so many people tell him he looks miserable. He didn't really care since all he could think about was sleep.

After doing what he needed to do, he didn't bother with changing his clothes, he jumped straight into bed and slept.

Albedo woke up with messy hair and a blurred vision. He saw a huge blueberry by the side of his bed and rubbed his eyes to see better. Oh, it's Kaeya.

'Oh, you're awake?'

'Oh no, my eyes are closed and I'm sleeping soundly.'

Albedo said sarcastically. 

How long have I been asleep for him to be able to finish a whole book? Albedo thought to himself. He checked the time and He's been sleeping for 12 hours. He felt grumpy and went to take a cup of water.

'How'd you get in?' Albedo asked.

'Well, I wanted to check how you were doing since Timaus said you looked miserable, so I came to check. I knocked and you didn't answer so I invited myself inside and locked the door.'

'Oh, thank you.'

'Anyways I bought you some dinner. Do you wanna eat it right now?'

'Sure, and thank you, again.'

Albedo went to take a shower and felt refreshed when he was done. He had never got that much sleep in ages. It felt nice. He walked out of the bathroom and saw Kaeya boiling the porridge since it got cold. He walked over to Kaeya and just sat on the chair waiting for him.

'Are you really hungry?

'Well, yeah, kinda, I guess.'

'I've finished boiling the porridge, I'll be going now! I have some work to do, I'll come back later.'
