⚜ Chapter 2: Classes

Luna hurries off to Algebra class. Her teacher Mr. Sage was already there writing mathematical questions in his notebook. Her other friend, Aiden was also doing calculations in his notebook.

"Why are you doing calculations before class even started?" Luna asked as she sat next to a desk, that was next to his. "And why weren't you at the courtyard before school started?"

"It was a warm-up," Aiden replied, still doing calculations."There's supposed to be a review test today. And I was busy in the library checking out books."

"Typical," Luna said, crossing her arms.

"Hey, Luna," Mia said, from the seat behind them."I know. I'm sorry for not understanding what you meant by the story."

Luna sighed. She knew she could be mad at her forever."Fine, I forgive you."

The final bell rang, and everybody got into their seats. Mr. Sage got out stacks of papers.

"Hello everyone, I'm Mr. Sage, your Algebra teacher," He said. "Today you're taking a review test."

The class erupted with boos and hisses. Luna didn't want to take the review test either. But Aiden looks like he's ready to take it. Mia groans and pounds her fist on her desk.

"Oh come on," Mr. Sage said, passing out the test to everyone."It's not that bad. It is just a review from last year. It's just a few questions."

"A FEW QUESTIONS?!" Mia shouted."DOES TWENTY-NINE SEEM LIKE A FEW QUESTIONS TO YOU? OF COURSE, YOU DO. Any teacher would." Mia mumbles, answering for herself."Why did you have to put TWENTY-NINE QUESTIONS?! Why can't you just SIMPLY JUST ROUND UP TO THIRTY? OR FORTY? OH, I KNOW. HOW ABOUT FIFTY?"

"Mia, please calm down. I'll let it slide this time," Mr. Sage said."You'll have thirty minutes to finish the test. You may begin in . . . 1 . . . 2 . . . 3!"

                   ---------------- In the middle of the test ----------------

Everyone in the class seems hard at work. Luna was quickly solving problems and writing them down. 

"Luna," Mia whispers in Luna's ear. 

She turned her head around and said also whispering, "What? We're in a middle of a review test. So whenever there's a test it means: No talking."

"I need to ask you something. What's the answer to the last question?" Mia said in a low voice.

Luna sighed then face-palm herself."I'm doing the same question too. Couldn't you just ask Aiden?"

"No," Mia said."He'll lecture me to death with all of those equations."

                           ---------------- Science class ----------------

"Okay," Luna said reading the instruction to her science lab partner."You just add the"

 "This?" Ethen picked up the substances and held them up in Luna's face.

"Yes, but don't interrupt me, "Luna said as he nodded.

Then Ethen began to pour the powder into the tube.

"Wait just a little-" But before Luna could finish, the powder went inside the tube and came out with a loud explosion that shook the classroom. Ethen was covered head to toe with black dust.

"-bit" Luna sighed.

                          ---------------- Combat training class ----------------

"Welcome. I'm Mrs. Miles," their combat training teacher said."Today you'll be training just in case if someone attacks you. So you'll be in teams of two." Mrs. Miles explains. Luna receives Mia's glance.

"But I'm going to pick your teams."She said. There are a lot of groans and sighs as she said that. As she announced the teams, but no luck with Mia and Luna being teams. Mia was with Sandy.  I guess Mia and I are rivals now, Luna thought.

" Princess Luna from the city of lights and," Mrs. Miles called out."Dylan from the city of nights ."

He stood beside her with a small smirk on his face. Luan just Ignore him.

" A few of you could be the one that is chosen to go on tasks, like missions at the end of the month if you pass that is," Mrs. Miles explains."First I'll explain the rules. But we're not going to use our powers. We'll use inflatable padded jousting sticks, so it won't hurt anyone that badly."

As soon as Mrs. Miles gave us some padded jousting sticks, she started to explain things."Okay, this is simple. You just hit your opponent with it. Just to be clear, not your teammates."

When she said the word 'Teammates' Dylan immediately gave her a grin which in Luna's guess that she couldn't hit him no matter what. Luna crosses her arms. Mrs. Miles handed them some inflatable padded jousting sticks.

"On real missions, you'll use swords or ray guns. But today you'll not be using ray guns or swords. That's for later on."Mrs. Miles said."Okay, now when you are hit by the inflatable padded jousting stick you sit down so everyone knows that you're out. You will have to work together to win. On your marks. Get set. GO!"

Everyone started to whack each other with their padded jousting sticks. Mia was good, she likes already hit five people. They groan when Mia hits them and sat down on the gym floor. But Sandy on the other hand wasn't really good. Every time she hit's someone she felt a little sorry for them. She either says "Oh, sorry" or "I didn't mean to hit so hard".

"Oh come on Sandy."Mia said, whacking peoples."In real battles, you can't be sorry for them."

"But, it looks so painful when you get hit," Sandy said, behind Mia."What if I get hit, and left a big bruise on my eyes."

"You'll be fine," Mia said, rolling her eyes.

                         ---------------- At the other side of the gym ---------------- 

"So," Dylan said."What are we supposed to do again?"

"We're supposed to hit peoples with these," Luna said, holding up the padded jousting stick.

"Oh, fun," Dylan said, whacking a people who come from the city of time. Then he hit Sandy gently. He snuck behind Mia and hit her. Mia groans and is about to whack him back, but Mrs. Miles blows her whistle and signals her to sit. Only a few peoples remain in the game. Luna bonks people in the head, whack them by the face, hit them in the stomach, and even flip them upside down with the padded jousting stick. Soon everyone was defeated by mostly Luna.

"Okay, that was a piece of cake!" Luna said. Mrs. Miles was shocked by our teamwork and wrote down something on her clipboard.

"Okay game over," Mrs.Miles announced." Team Princess Luna and Dylan wins. This was the fastest I've ever seen people get out. I'm impressed by your teamwork."

The bell rang for lunch and then everyone walk to the cafeteria.
