It wasn't too long ago that he was out of the capsule, it wasn't long for the others who survived with him to join him. Everyone else, besides (Y/n) and Chiaki, is still in their capsule, trapped in a land of dreams. Dreams reflect their desires, wishes, and such. Only he was able to pull them out of that state of theirs, but trying felt like he couldn't move forward.

With everything in his power, it felt like he was in another dead end. If it weren't for these talents, thanks to Izuru, he would have given up already and gone into despair long ago. He would have given up on saving his friends and on everything.

And speaking about Izuru Kamukura, the bored male who possessed every talent, was now with him as one. Hajime was overwhelmed by these talents at first, having all this power within his hands, but slowly he was getting his abilities under control. (Thanks to Izuru's help, of course. Though, it did surprise him that Izuru Kamukura offered to help him.)

~A bit of Flashback~

'The world bored me as I observed. What was the point in living if I watched the world pass on? Therefore, I will offer you a deal, my other half.'

'A deal...?'

'I will teach you how to use my nearly limitless abilities, but in return, you must search for a way to entertain me.'

'Alright...'

~End of Flashback~

And with his guidance, Hajime was able to make an advance towards recovering each of his friends.

"Any luck today, Hajime?" A male voice called out.

Hajime turned to see the person that called out his name, and saw Fuyuhiko, The Ultimate Yakuza, walking towards him. Hajime gave him a tired laugh.

"I'm making progress alright, but it'll be a long time until I'm even close," He sadly answered the short male. That was the answer that The Ultimate Yakuza needed to hear.

"Hey, we're in this together," He reminded Hajime again. "As long as we keep trying, we will think of something. The future is ours, remember? You proved that to A.I Junko after all."

"Right."

Both males gave a glance in the eyes before sharing a breathy laugh before Fuyuhiko left Hajime alone. The Ultimate Yakuza was right. As long they never give up and do not lose hope, their friends will wake up from their dreamland. All besides two females. Chiaki was a wonderful friend he made during the school year, he liked her as a little sister at most - and she was always there listening to his problems during the Killing Game.

And (Y/n): Gods, he couldn't help but remember that warm feeling he had within him every time he was near her. Despite how they were both in a Killing Game, he had loved her every time they've bonded. Despite how she and Chiaki were AIs, Hajime can't forget what it feels like to lose someone.

Both of them will never come back, and they will always be out of his reach. (Y/n) will always be out of his loving reach, and that crushed his heart more than ever. He had lost them twice, whether it's the real world or not. Hajime clenched his fist, having a heart-wrenching feeling. And that feeling was a reminder of how much he was powerless to save them both.

'We have gone through this conversation many times already.' Izuru spoke whispery in the back of his mind. 'They both can't be brought back no matter what. Even with all my talents, bringing the dead is impossible. That is God's domain.'
