"Let her go!" The person exclaims, and as he comes into the light, I see that he's............
Suho!
"Yunhee! Are you alright? Did this ugly excuse of a lady do anything?"
"Uh, no. I'm fine, but who is she...?" The lady has disappeared, but in her place, I see Mr. R grinning as evil as ever. What's he up to?
"Surprise, dear Yunnie!" He's trying way too hard to sound friendly. It's sickening how he calls me "dear" and "Yunnie". No one calls me Yunnie except my close classmate friends because they're the ones who gave me that name in the first place.
"Please don't call me that," I tell him, but now that I know he is definitely evil, I tell him with a mean face on.
"Yes, please do not ever call her Yunnie or dear. It's disgusting, you... Warlock..... You!!!" Suho proclaims, but he's trying too hard as well to come up with a good insult. I mean, come on, warlock? That's the best he's got?
"How nice of you to speak to your elder that way, Mr. Suho. Or should I say... Junmyeon?" Mr. R retorts. But Junmyeon? Is that Suho's nickname or something? I don't know, but Suho doesn't look happy, and he looks like he's putting all his energy in holding himself back from strangling Mr. R.
"What did you do?" Suho asks silently and shortly.
Mr. R then looks at me and smirks. Then he turns back to Suho and claps his hands twice, just like the lady did, but instead of the lights turning off, some little elf things appear and start attacking Suho. They are apparently evil elves because they are trying to shoot fireballs at Suho and start hitting his legs. "Suho!" I yell because I'm very confused and mad at Mr. R for summoning those things to hurt my friend.
"Don't worry, Yunnie. I've got this under control!" He starts shooting water out of his hands and diminish the flames of the little evil elves. They run and scream in circles while Mr. R watched amusingly. What is up with this creep? Finally, all the elves disappear and Suho proceeds to take some steps towards me.
"Not so fast, Junmyeon! I've got to talk to dearie here, and I need to talk to her in private. Don't worry, I'm just going to talk, and nothing more. Now, you may excuse yourself." Suho hesitates to step out, but does so as he takes one last glance at me. He mouths the words, "Be careful! Fighting!" and leaves.
I then turn to face Mr. R and he takes a deep breath as if he's dreading to talk to me. That's different.
........................
"How should I start this... Ah, yes! Well, Yunhee, as you know, I am Mr. R, and I am your headmaster's half-brother. I am actually the co. Headmaster, but nobody recognizes me as that anymore." He starts off and then glances at me as if to check if I'm still alive.
"We have a co headmaster?" I ask. Funny, it wasn't in the handbook.
"Yes, that would be I. Anyways, I know you are different from the others at North River-Castle. You have never been in contact with magic before, am I correct?" He questions.
"Y-yes?" I don't know how to respond to this. I mean, I have never learned about magic or fairytales as much as other kids when I was younger, but I do know about some by watching Disney movies with my friends. That was before I lived with my guardians, Mr. and Mrs. Kim, though.
"Let me explain everything to you then. First of all, North River-Castle Academy is not a normal school. Yes, it is prestigious worldwide, but that is because of the students attending it. The students are extremely gifted in many fields, more than others on average, but it is because of their stories and characters they play. Their ancestors are fairytale characters, so they inherit traits from them. Such as Mr. Junmyeon- he inherited his charms from his great-grandfather, Prince Charming. Since many generations have passed, and characters mix with others, they develop other traits, or sometimes, even powers. Not many students now have genuine powers, they have traits and skills, but not powers. If they do, most of the time, it's because they buy them from witches or wizards. But the thing about your class is that, all the students there have genuine powers, and the scary thing is that they have wolf blood in them. Wolves are known in history as dangerous and evil, such as in 'Little Red Riding Hood' or 'The Three Little Pigs', so that is why they're so special. None of the students without wolf blood have genuine powers." He stops and let's me take all this in before talking again.
