I checked my phone.
Time check: 10pm. 12.17.2021
I'm alone. Again. In my room. In my dark room. It's been 10 days since my Dad passed away and I'm still not on my mind. He's the only family left pero bakit pati sya kinuha sakin.
-knock- -knock-
Zoe: Sino yan?
Sa pagkakaalam ko, ako lang mag isa. So sino ang papasok sa bahay ko at kakatok in the middle of the night. I got scared ofcourse. Kinuha ko ung baseball bat ng Daddy na dinala ko sa kwarto ko para lagi ko syang nakikita at naalala.
Zoe: Who the hell are you?
(Nakaready na ako sa tapat ng pinto na pukpokin sya ng baseball bat pag bigla syang pumasok)

"Zoe, ako to" "What's going on?"
Nagulat ako — that's my Dad's voice.
Pano nangyare? How can it be possible? He's gone for almost 10 days.
Zoe: Dad?
Dad: Oo anak, it's me. Anong nangyayari sayo?
Di ko alam pero nakaramdam ako ng takot. Pero hindi ko talaga alam.
Zoe: Kung panaginip lang to, please wake me up. Please Lord. Wake me up.
And —— after like 15mins. Nagising ako. And yes, I found out na panaginip nga ang lahat.
Zoe: Akala ko totoo na. Grabe.
So since I just woke up. I checked my phone.
It's monday. August 23, 2012.
I got 101 text messages.
Author's POV
Napatalon si Zoe sa gulat when she saw the date. And the messages na nareceive.
Lahat yun group messages ng mga classmates nya way back in highschool. And what really shocked her is when she saw the date.
It's already 2021. Pero bakit naging 2012?
Nagring phone nya.
It was her friend Danielle.
Zoe: Omg! Dani! Thank God tumawag ka. I don't know what's happening but everything changed on my phone. Yung date, it's August 2012.
Dani: Huh? (Confused) Eh august naman talaga ah. August 23, 2012. Monday. Hayy, first day syndrom ba yan?
Zoe: Wait— what? (sobrang nagtataka) Are you pranking me?
Dani: Zoe, kulang ka pa ata sa tulog. I gotta go. Tinawagan lang kita to remind you that you're Dad is on a business trip so walang gigising sayo. Maaga pasok natin. (Then Dani hung up the phone)
Zoe's POV
I don't know what's going on. Binaba ko yung phone ko sa gilid ng kama when I realized na yung kwarto ko is the same kwarto that I had 9 years ago.
The curtains are all pink.
My old lampshade, my computer that is complete pink din and even my bagpack and wall paper na all baby pink. I really don't know what's happening? Di pa rin nag eexist sa utak ko mga nangyayari. The last time I remember, I'm already an accountant and bakit ako nasa 2012????
I immediately stand up at pumunta ako sa restroom na nasa kwarto ko. And what shocked me is my face in the mirror.
I'm wearing a terno pink hello kitty pantulog.
And that's really the 15 years old me.
I slapped my face. Siguro mga 10 times, baka kasi another dream na naman to. But it's real. Really real.
I look for my things na gamit ko sa work sa room ko. Pero wala talaga. Wala yung laptop ko na ginagamit ko sa work, even my bag. My make ups is not here. All I see is my old Jansport baby pink bagpack. And my cute stuff na I have when I was in highschool.
Nag ring ulit yung phone ko—-
And it's my Dad.
I answered the phone as fast as I can. I wanna talk with my Dad. I miss his voice.
Zoe: Daddy? (I started crying)
Daddy: Anak? Bakit ka umiiyak? (comforting voice)
Zoe: Daddy, I miss you so much (Continue crying)
Daddy: Sa iyak mo naman na yan anak para naman akong namatay. (Tumawa)
Zoe's POV
Yes, Dad. You died. You just died.
Daddy: Nak, Uuwi din ang daddy. I'll be home tonight, sabay tayo magdidinner. Wag mo na ako masyado mamiss. I'm on a meeting. I love you.
Zoe: I love you so much, Dad. See you later. Ingat po.
Yun nalang sinabe ko, and binaba nadin ng Daddy ang phone.
Lumabas ako ng room ko.
And what shocked me is my old Yaya. She's there.
As far as I remember, Dad sent her home cause that's her wish but she never came back and I miss her so much.
Zoe: Yaya Del?
Yaya: Zoe? Buti naman gising kana. Kumain kana mahal kong alaga.
I hugged her. Sobrang higpit.
Yaya: Aba nakasweet naman ng alaga kong ito. (Then she kissed me on my forehead)
On that moment, I'm happy. Nakangiti ulit ako. I just cherish the moment. Ayoko na muna isipin kong anong nangyari. I just wanna enjoy it.
Nakahanda na yung paborito kung almusal na niluluto ng Yaya. Tocino with egg saka yung Daing na bangus.
Zoe: Omg, namiss ko to!!! (Sabay upo agad at subo)
Yaya: Parang kahapon ganyan din almusal mo ah. Haha (Sabay tawa ng malakas)
