3rd Person POV:

The unnerving silence in the classroom casually shifted to a low murmur of conversation among the students. Y/n found themselves looking over at Fuyuhiko talking to a grey-haired girl, who'd previously introduced herself as Peko. The way the pair's eyes collectively glanced around the room left an unsettling feeling of unease in Y/n's gut as they frowned and scrunched their eyebrows together.

Y/n was abruptly caught off-guard as they noticed Fuyuhiko's gaze on them; they paled and turned around in their chair immediately.

The rest of the period flashed away as Y/n hyper-fixated on the previous incident. Why did it even bother them that much anyway???? They got plenty of looks from other people anyway, it's not like this was unusual.

Or maybe it was the way that Fuyuhiko's gaze lingered on them for just slightly longer than it should have, and the way it softened just a bit when it did.

Y/n shifted around uncomfortably in their seat. They couldn't piece this together and it left them extremely unnerved. They tried paying attention to whatever their teacher was saying but ultimately couldn't.

They zoned out for the remainder of the class until the class was dismissed. Sonia previously mentioned that she was going to be staying back for a bit to talk to that Gundham kid, so they didn't bother waiting for her.

Y/n picked up their bag and left the classroom. Not too soon after taking a few steps, they felt an arm on their shoulder and instantly spun around, ending up face to face (yet again) with a grey-haired girl.

"Hey...you left this behind on your seat...," said the girl, holding out a rubik's cube.
Y/n's face flushed pink,
"Oh thanks Chiaki."
Chiaki simply nodded in response as she walked out of the classroom.

Y/n played around with their Rubik's Cube. Being good at math, they were automatically drawn towards puzzles like these. They walked out into the hallway, brain on autopilot as they crashed into something- or someone- and dropped their belongings.

Y/n apologised profusely to the person and was met with a very familiar pair of green eyes belonging to none other than the Kuzuryuu kid.

The two Ultimates stared at each other, maintaining eye contact for what seemed like ages, neither of the two willing to break it first.

"Oh. It's you." Y/n murmured, gaze snapping to the side.
"..."
They let out a sigh. "Might as well try and be the bigger person here."
"Sorry for earlier, that was kinda rude."
"..."
"Um...I hope I didn't offend you I wasn't really trying to, just have a terrible temper and-"
"Yeah whatever."
Now it was Y/n's turn to go radio silent.
"Anyways I'm...ssksljsksks"
"What was that?" Y/n teased, a smirk playing on their face.
"I said I'm skseudhj"
"You're whaaaaat??"
"I'M FUCKING SORRY OKAY GET ON WITH IT."

Y/n laughed loudly while Fuyuhiko's face reddened likely from the embarrassment.
"Anyways, truce? I wouldn't particularly like to get on your bad side. Not to say you'd be better off getting on mine either."
"Yeah yeah yeah whatever." Fuyuhiko mumbled as he walked out of the classroom.

"Young master, what was that all about?? Did they say something to you??" Peko eagerly questioned him as he walked out after she witnessed the entire scene.
Fuyuhiko's blush disappeared in an instant, a neutral expression and monotone replacing it now.
"It's nothing, Peko. No need to get worked up."
"If you say so, I suppose..."

"Everything's going just as planned."

A/N: Yeah deadlines uh i,
