Chapter 3 - The Meeting

“There you are onee-chan! I looked everywhere for…oh!” the boy

suddenly paused with a little shock and changed to his teasing

grinning look “Well, well, well. If it isn’t Miss rank 2! Why are you

with my sister?”

“Natsume? Sister? You mean Yuuki-oneechan?” Mikan said who now

just understood what Yuuki said earlier.

“It seems that you just figured it out.” Natsume said still teasing

“Well what do I expect to MISS RANK 2 right?”

“I already told you that my name is Mikan! MIKAN! M-I-K-A-N!”

replied Mikan a little bit teased.

“Well Mikan,” Yuuki interrupted “I better take you home. Your

brother might be worried.”

“He doesn’t care about me.” Mikan replied quickly.

“Well, let me rephrase. Your parents might be worried.” Yuuki

answered with a smile.

“Okay Yuuki-oneechan.” replied Mikan even though she really

doesn’t want to.

“Natsume go home first.” Yuuki ordered Natsume.

“I will just drop Mikan to her house and also explain the situation

to her family.”

“Okay onee-chan. Bye Miss Second Place!” teased Natsume.

“I told you hundreds of time already! My name is Mikan!” replied

Mikan angrily.

        So Yuuki escorted Mikan home.

“I’m home!” shouted Mikan as she entered the front door.

“Oh! Your finally...here” replied Kaname curious about the reason

why his classmate, Yuuki is with his sister. He thought that maybe

she wants to visit her and he also thought that this flirting is really

easy to get with no challenge at all.

        Then Yuuki suddenly grinned and hid a laugh.

“Mikan why is Hanazono-san  here? And why do you have some

bruces and scratches?” Kaname finally spoke he is also pretending

to be caring to his sister for him to know the reason why Yuuki is

with Mikan.

“Oh! It seems that you already know Yuuki-oneechan.” Mikan

replied “ She is here for she saved me from almost being killed by a

bus out-of-control.”

“What? Are you okay Mikan?” Kaname asked still pretending.

“When did you…” Mikan suddenly asked. But her brother winked at

her meaning to shut it for he is in his playboy mode.

“Mikan,” Kaname suddenly asked to change the subject “why do you call Hanazono-san Yuukionee-chan?”

“We agreed to it earlier.” Mikan replied.

        Just then the doorbell rang.

“Mikan! Kaname! Where home!” a woman’s voice suddenly shouted

from the front door.

“Mom! Dad!” Mikan yelled as she ran towards the front door

recognizing the voice of her mother and father.

        The two (Kaname and Mikan) took the hand of their mother

and father then let the upper part of their hand touch their

foreheads one at a time.

“Good evening Mr. and Mrs. Katsuragi.” Yuuki greeted her

respectfully and kindly.

“Kaname who is this?” Mrs. Katsuragi whispered to Kaname “Is this

your new one?

        Yuuki suddenly chuckled which everyone heard as an angel’s

giggle.

“No Ma’am.” Yuuki then replied still full of respect and gracefulness.

“I’m just came to escort Mikan-chan home.”

 “Mikan,” Mr. Katsuragi asked “why do you need to have an escort home. Did you go outside even though its already late?”

“But before the long explanation,” Mrs. Katsuragi said “may we all

seat first on the sofa?”

        Then Mikan explained the things that happened starting from

her and Kaname’s argument. She also told them the conversation

about the go-to school thing and about information she knew

about Yuuki.

“Hanazono-san,” Mrs. Katsuragi asked “Is it really okay for you to escort Mikan from here to school?”

“Yes Madam,” Yuuki answered with an angelic and

heartwarming smile “It’s fine. There is no trouble caused. Besides,

my brother Natsume is her classmate.”

“Oh please,” Mrs. Katsuragi answered embarrassed by Yuuki’s way of calling her ‘madam’ “ Just call me Akemi-san.”

“Yes,” Yuuki answered with an angelic smile “Akemi-san”

        Just then the doorbell rang again. But it only rang once.
