A/N: Hey! this is my first Wattpad story (also the first adaptation). I hope you like it. Leave suggestions for other romcoms you'd like me to adapt in the comments :) .

Danielle's POV:

She's the embodiment of the ideal woman. Glamor, sophistication, and mystery all tie up into a perfect little package that is world-renowned actress Stefania Spampinato. Or at least that's what I've read in the last issue of People magazine. She's a very admirable woman of course; played in some of the most successful movies of the decade which I have watched, she just wasn't someone I particularly cared for. She lived millions of miles away from where I lived, which is here, Notting Hill. Not a bad place to be. Just a small village in the middle of London. It's a very interesting place, we've got everything from the Wednesday market to the hair parlor that makes anyone that steps foot in there look like the cookie monster whether they like it or not. I've lived here all my life, it's home. I'm currently staying in a charming little house that I bought with my now ex-wife who left me for her boss that looked like a hotter version of Kate Walsh. I now lead a strange half-life with my weird roommate grey who's always either drunk or high. I work at a travel book shop that sells... Well, travel books, and to be honest, doesn't sell too many of those either. That's where I am right now. My coworker Oak has run out to get us some coffee and I decided to get started on the workday. That's when she walked in.

Stefania's POV:

My driver just dropped me off for my last stop in London. Notting hill. I've heard good things about it: a charming small village with very agreeable people. While on my walk there I stumbled upon this cute travel bookshop. Very aesthetic, nothing like the big corporations we have in the US. I decided it would be nice to take a look inside considering my upcoming travels to Peru. I easily find the book that I want but get distracted by a message that I just received from my assistant "last-minute interview at the Hilton hotel omw to pick you up". I've been having to deal with interviews all day which I'm usually okay with except that my mental health hasn't been great lately. I get interrupted from my thoughts by the lady at the register. "I wouldn't suggest that book. But if it's Peru you're interested in I can recommend a couple of books, one of which has a very funny anecdote about causa ." she says "I'm fine, thank you," I replied.

A few moments later I came up to her to pay for my book. "I see you haven't changed your mind about the book. Well, then I hope you find it is an okay choice after all. No childish stories about causa in there" she rambles. I smile, she blushes. "Oh heck, I'll even throw in a free book for you. After reading that awful book I doubt you'll ever come here again" she continues "thanks" I say. She hands me my bag and for a slight second our hands touch and I feel a spark between us. Maybe we could've been friends in another life.

Danielle's POV

She just left. Stefania Spampinato just came into my shop, bought a book, and left. She must've been one of the prettiest people I've ever seen. "Well of course she is, she's a Hollywood actress" I remind myself. It's at this moment that my coworker Oak comes back in with the two coffees. I decided against telling him what had just happened. I quickly drink my espresso before realizing that I'm gonna need another one if I wanna survive the whole day at work, so I head to the coffee shop. On my way back from there I accidentally bump into a tall brunette spilling my coffee all over her. It only takes me a second to realize it's her, Stefania. "Watch out" she yells "oh god I'm sorry let me help you fix that my house is right around the corner you can use my bathroom," I say embarrassed "no I'm fine I just need to find my car; my phone died" she refuses "you can use my house phone really it's no problem my house is very close" I insist "what do you mean very close? Give it to me in yards", "10 yards" I answer "it's the house with the blue front door right at the other side of the street" I add pointing to my house. She agreed to come with me and I led her there.
