Stefanielle and Marina Rom-coms

-----Chapter three

A/N: Heyy! this is my favorite chapter so far, hope you enjoy it! :)

Stefania's POV:

We got to Danielle's friend's house and she rang the bell. A man who seemed rather agitated opened the door. He wasn't paying much attention to us. "come right in, food crises" he said. It must be Boris. I noticed that he didn't recognize me yet. I turned to Danielle and she shrugged. Maybe it's better that way. "Sorry, guinea fowl has been more complicated than expected." a woman tells us. "He's cooking guinea fowl?" Danielle asks, "Don't even ask." the woman responds. "Hi" I decide to finally speak "oh hi" the woman finally acknowledges me "my god, you're the spitting image of-" she continues but Danielle cuts her off "Jaina, this is Stefania". "Oh right, nice to meet you" Jaina answers with a knowing smile. "Okay crisis averted" the man from earlier comes back "Boris, this is my friend Stefania" Danielle introduces me "hello Stefania. Spampinato," he says finally realizing who I am. I try not to laugh. "Have some wine.'' He changes the subject and pours me a glass and I thank him. The doorbell rings again. Boris leaves to open the door. "It's Barrett and Jay" he announces. I recognize Barrett's name, she's the birthday girl. The new guests both enter the living room where we're staying. "Holy fuck" the man yells when he sees me. He must be jay. "It's not even my birthday and I'm already having a better time than you" he teases Barrett. "Umm Barrett, Jay, this is Stefania" Danielle says embarrassed "clearly we know" Barrett says smiling. I wish her a happy birthday and hand her her present. Jay starts talking again "you know what Stef, I've actually been thinking about this for a while and I now genuinely believe that we can be besties. What do you think?" "Lucky me." I giggle. "Marry Dani, she's great! That way we can be like sisters!" Barrett joins in excitedly. Danielle is about to correct her "oh no we're just frien-" but I interrupt her "I'll think about it". I smile. Danielle blushes. The bell rings again. "That must be Jason," Boris says with a worried look on his face and goes to open the door. They both come in and Danielle introduces us to each other "hi Stefania" he says, not recognizing me. He turns to Barrett and gives her a side hug "Barrett! Happy birthday to you!" He says in a sing-songy voice while handing her a present. After introductions things settle down a little. Danielle is helping Boris and Jaina in the kitchen while Jay and Barrett are in a corner talking which leaves me and Jason to talk. "So Stef, what do you do for a living?" he asks and I smile at the irony "umm I'm an actress," I tell him "nice! I'm an accountant so nothing similar although I have to say I did theatre in high school. But I always imagined it must be a hard job though no? I mean the wages are horrible, I have a friend that acts and she barely gets by." he sputters "well yeah it can be hard" I say "what do you work in Stef?" he asks "films mainly" I answer "well that's cool, last film you played in, for example, how much did you make?" he questions "fifteen million dollars" I answer. He looks stunned, I try not to laugh. He stays silent until Boris comes back in.

Danielle's POV:

After everyone is settled in I left Stefania so I could help Jaina and Boris in the kitchen. As soon as I entered the kitchen Jaina started bombarding me with questions "oh my god you're friends with Stefania Spampinato? What, did you pay her to hang out with you?" she teased "shut up we met at my bookstore" I clapped back "so are you guys just friends because by the way she looks at you.." I blush at her observation "oh my god you're blushing! You like her!" she continued "I do not! She's just a friend!" I pause. "Besides, she's probably straight. "So you do like her!" Jaina exclaimed "it doesn't matter she's made it clear that all she wants from me is friendship" I explained "wait, did something happen between you two? Is that why you said she was 'probably' straight?" she asked, "I don't wanna talk about it Jaina." I finally told her. As much as I wanted to let everything off of my chest I knew that Stefania would never forgive me if I told anyone. We all go back to the living room when Boris starts setting the table. "I think we're ready to eat" Boris informs us "umm Jaina could you please tell me where the bathroom is?" Stefania asks "I'll show her" Barrett volunteers. As soon as they leave Jay asks "okay quick, quick, can I just know what the hell are you doing here with Stefania Spampinato?" "stefania spampinato?" Jason asks shocked, we all nod "what, the movie star?" "yeah" I answer "Oh no no no! Oh my god!" I can see the fear in his eyes. Oh god, I hope he didn't say or do anything to offend her. Barrett came back quickly followed by Stefania. We're all ready to have dinner.
