Mr. Nobody

"Who's got you all red?" Rey asked as they leaned on the door. "No one." You replied as you put your phone in your pocket. "Uh-huh.." they paused for a moment and stared at you. "What?" You said. There was a moment of silence between you two. "Give me your phone!" Rey ran towards you and reached in your pocket. You both collapsed on the floor as you fought over your phone. They yanked the phone from your grip and ran to the restroom locking the door behind them. "That's enough! Open up!"    There was no reply. You heard the faint noise of your phone being unlocked. "Oh my~" you heard the muffled voice of them behind the door. "Who's Nanami with a smiley face at the end??" They asked. "He's nobody !" You yelled. "Oh then I guess you won't mind if I shoot Mr. Nobody  a text?" Your whole body was filled with panic. "Okay I'll tell you! Just don't do anything!" The door unlocked and opened. Rey peered out the door. "Everything?" They asked. "Yes I swear." "Great." They smiled.

"So....you have a date with this Nanami guy?" They stared at you intensely. "Yeah." You looked down."the guy who you met at the market?" "Y-yes" "The same dude who brought you home an hour ago?" "Mhm" "The same guy you had sex with?" "...yeah." You mumbled. "Wow. So what are you going to wear?" They asked. "I'm not sure." "Jesus Christ, y/n, you are hopeless.".You turned red from embarrassment. "I- yeah your right." You sat on your bed. You didn't even try to argue. "Listen..We still have time to get you something nice to wear. And I'm here to help." Rey came close to the bed and sat next to you. "I am your friend after all." They smiled. Despite how much times they scold and tease you, Rey was always there to help you whenever you ask. They were like your older sibling. "Thanks a lot." You smiled. "No problem. Just don't try and hide things from me anymore, you little shit." They laughed. "Hm. Okay...." You smiled. "So anyway.." they continued. "What's for lunch? I'm starving."

Eventually you guys decided to just go to a small sandwich shop a short drive away. You've both been there before and it eventually became one of your regular places to visit.  It was a quiet, simple place. However, the drive over was anything other than quiet. Rey was a shit driver with poor music choices. According to them however, they had the best driving abilities and had elite music taste. Please, They drove like a bat out of hell. You knew they were close by the loud music blasting from the car. And being inside it was 10x worse. You gripped on the car for dear life as they sped down the ,thankfully, vacant streets. They bellowed out the words to the loud music with out a care. You finally pulled up to the small sandwich shop. You walked in with Rey and ordered at the counter. "Yo y/n." They called. "What?" You responded. "Go get us a table while I pay yeah?" You nodded and walked over to the dining area. You walked over to your favorite table and sat down. A few moments later Rey came over to sit down with you. "Usual spot again I see." They chuckled. "Just like always." You loved that seat because you could see a wonderful view outside the window. The waiter came over with your orders in hand. "Here you go." He said "Thank you." You smiled. "Of course" he replied. "Finally!" Rey exclaimed. "I'm starving." They said with their mouth already full. "Chew with your mouth closed. We're in public." You scolded. "Relax, mom. Sorry." They laughed. "God you're disgusting." You smiled as you threw a napkin at them.

You two were enjoying yourselves for a bit, catching up on small things. You heard the shop door open as someone walked in. You payed no mind to the person who walked in. "Hello sir! What can I get you?" The cashier spoke. A familiar voice was heard from the customer. You looked up out of curiosity. "I'll just have a black coffee, thank you." The man spoke. You heard his foot steps come close to the dining area. You froze. "You okay y/n? Yoo hooo?" Rey said with their mouth full. "Oh shit." You muttered. "What??" They questioned and turned to look where you were staring, making it very obvious. "Would you put your head down" you whispered aggressively and pulled there head down. "What's wrong ? Who is it?" Rey asked. "It's Mr. nobody." You whispered. "Mr. nobod- oh..OH!!" They yelled "would you shut the fuck up.??" You panicked. "Oh shit. Sorry." They laughed quietly. You grabbed a menu at your table to cover you face. You looked up and saw him sitting at another window looking out of it. He looked so handsome sitting there. He made sitting alone so nice. The waiter brought him the coffee. You saw him say thank you to the waiter. He took a sip out of the mug and opened the newspaper on the table he had. "Pst. You're staring buddy." Rey whispered. You looked up at them all wide eyed. "Relax. Just act like me you didn't even notice him and continue eating like normal." Rey said. "O-okay." You stuttered. You put the menu down and continued your conversation with Rey. Only this time you were a little less relaxed. "You slouch when you're nervous. Sit up straight" Rey spoke. You sat up. You glanced over at Nanami who was on the phone now. Having a conversation, but with who? The thought lingered. He looked so focused and replied with ease in his voice. Why were you concerned? You began to blank. As you glanced over to the table again , you noticed Nanami had already left. There was a $15 tip on the table left behind. Very generous of him.
