A/N: I'm trying to make the chapters longer for you guys. At least a thousand words or something. What are your opinions about longer chapters? Do you like them?
So yeah, Liam and I were officially a couple.
We had dinner that night with our families but we didn't mention the part where we started dating. Liam and I both decided that we wouldn't tell our parents...for a while.
The next day, I went to Liam's hockey game (his team won). Then, he bought us tickets to the state carnival. We went on roller coasters, we ate elephant ears (the pastry) and cotton candy, and we played carnival games. I won Liam a panda stuffed animal so he could give it to Ryan when he went home.
"That ride was so crazy," Liam said as we exited the ride.
His hair was disheveled. Liam put his elbow on my shoulder. I could tell he was light-headed. I myself was light-headed too.
"I know," I agreed. "Let's take a break at the rest area."
Liam nodded. "I have to go pee anyway."
I looked up at him and cringed. "Did you really have to say pee?"
Liam chuckled then shrugged.
Once we reached the rest area, I took a seat at one of the empty tables while Liam went into the restroom. The sun was setting over the horizon. It looked beautiful so I decided to snap a photo when suddenly, I see a familiar body standing in front of me.
"Excuse me, please. I'm trying to take a photo," I said.
"Oh, I'm sorry about that," said the guy, turning around.
I recognized the person to be Lucas.
"Oh! Hey, Lucas!" I said, getting up from my seat.
He smiled. "Hey!"
We hugged.
"What are you doing here?" I asked, breaking out of the hug.
"Oh...uh...I-"
A girl my age with olive skin, really long blonde hair and she was pretty tall-almost taller than Lucas (they were about the same height), appeared and put her arm around Lucas.
"Hey, Lucas I'm back-oh, who's this?" the mysterious girl asked.
"Jasmine-" Oh, her name was Jasmine, "-this is Gabby, Gabby this is Jasmine," Lucas said.
"Ah! It's nice to finally meet you, Gabby!" She let her hand out for me to shake it.
I decided to be polite so I shook her hand.
"So is he your-" I began.
"Yep! Today is our fifth month anniversary!" Jasmine said, all excited and jumpy.
Fifth month anniversary? What the hell! I couldn't believe Lucas kept that as a secret!
"Ohh," I said, staring at Lucas furiously trying to keep the best face on. "That's really nice to hear!"
They both kissed. I couldn't take it anymore.
"Well, I have to go, bye!" I said, walking off.
Two minutes later, Liam came out of the bathroom.
"So, what'd I miss?" Liam said, drying his hands with the paper towel.
I kept a fake smile on my face. "Nothing!"
He attempted to toss the towel into the garbage can but missed it.
"He shoots, he fails!" I said, trying to get Lucas out of my head.
