"Good morning!"

"Yehi? You just woke up?"

"What are you so worried about Nefes? The journey will take multiple months, let me just rest fully once before I go."

"You slept for 15 hours."

"Yes and they were good 15 hours."

"Well anyway, Bradley will arrive here soon with our equipment. Do you have everything you need?"

"Yes I do."

We stood there awkwardly for a few seconds until Bradley arrived with two large bags which were probably filled with tools and materials.

"Huh? Are you not taking anything with you?"

The question is directed towards me, who had nothing but clothes with me.

"Ah. No, I am just using a skill linked to my attribute."

'Abyssal Pocket'

I can't help but to think of the name when I use or see a skill. I pull out a longsword from a black dimensional hole in the atmosphere until half the sword is visible, then put it back and close the black tear.

"What kind of crazy attribute lets you use skills like that?"

"Abyss. I barely use the pocket, that's why my skills with it have just reached the second level recently."

"Of course you have a legendary attribute. I am quite surprised it isn't that high of a level. Your brother reached maximum mastery in sword skills twice and new ranks in addition to that."

I know, I am surprised as well. You usually have to increase your knowledge with a skill by a lot to have it show another level and the same goes for a rank. You might learn a new technique easier when it is part of your skill, but you still need to experiment a lot to do that. It is like a musician trying to compose a melody but he tends to play something he heard before rather than actually doing something new. It depends on your skill rank what skills you start learning easier, but you can learn skills at higher levels too, just not as easily.

"I am aware that he truly is fast. I can see his progress when he trains techniques."

"Ah, right! You have the eyes of gigul."

"Yep"

"Well, we should stop the talk. Nefes and I are going to leave the palace now."

"..."

"Oh that reminds me. Let me walk with you."

"Why do you wish to accompany us?"

"Oh I'm just going in the same direction as you guys."

Bradley hid his abhor towards the news and bowed down in front of me.

"It shall be my pleasure."

"Nono! Please don't be so formal! It makes me feel really mean."

He stands up.

"Well then, we should go before the sun reaches its peak."

and so we did. We traveled rather quickly, walking the path, but it took quite some time to reach the wild area, not protected by the residence magic of my parents.

"Okay, from here on the monsters are more dangerous, as only weak monsters can slip through the shield"

The air is wet, as is the ground. The forest we were about to enter surrounded the protection, making the protected area very obvious. As we entered the woods I noticed something.

"Do you see them?"

"No, but they reek"

Nefes was quick to answer with his sensitive nose.

We were surrounded by a horde of goblins. Bradley has been battle ready for a while now. His experience probably let him sense their murderous intent. After we stood still one rushed out and attacked us, but while running was abruptly beheaded by a sword swing originating from Bradley.

The rest of the malignity(name of a group of goblins) rushed us all at once, as I raised my hands.

[Abyssal Combustion: Dark Wildfire]

It sounded more special than It actually looked, as it was just explosively expanding fire in the form of a circle.

"Very fancy." Bradley commented.

"They just wanted some tools from us. The fact that goblins aren't creative enough to even make a small weapon makes them both dangerously aggressive, as well as harmless when they weren't lucky in finding any yet."

"Yes, but they are just goblins." I told my little brother, who seemed to be concerned with the appearance of goblins.

Bradley then asked something important:

"Before we encounter more things than there is need. Which locations do you need to encounter, so we can head to our closest goal first."

"Ah yes. I would need to go to that one village. The one that starts with 'V'"

"Varus? North from here?"

"Right. That's it!"

"I was there once. It's not far from here, let me guide you"

This is what they did and Bradley did not lie, as it was close enough to arrive in it before meeting any more unwanted creatures.

"Okay! You do your stuff and I head off to the church, which my father told me to visit. Does anyone want to follow anyway?"

"No, i'm not a fan of churches"

"I will stay with Bradley."

"Okay, we meet here in the evening."

"Okay"

"Yes"

Bradley, Nefes and I then lost sight of the other party at the next branch, at which I went to the church and they went to the Guild to gather needed information, some of which I asked them to get.
