*Flashback Hoseok POV*
After dancing on the streets for some money, I make my way back to the small studio I shared with 3 others. Still slightly sweaty I turn in the alley I usually walk through to my home. But this time I can hear soft sobbing. As I found out soon, I noticed a young woman, around my age. I squad in front of her and softly tap her knees. "Hey, are you okay? Is there anything you want? Need?" I look at the meager 8 euros I made. It might buy her a soda, or coffee and I'll eat some cup noodles instead of a full meal. The woman shakes her head and lifts it, only to reveal the most beautiful eyes and face I've ever seen. She has a fair white skin, red lips and her hazel eyes look saddened but piercing through my soul. I fell for her in a fraction of a second. "No thanks... I'm okay... I just... was sad." I nod. "Then, would you like my shoulder? A hug?" The woman looks at him with surprise in her eyes and she bites her lip. Eventually, unlike I expected, she fell into my arms and sobbed on my shoulder. "Finding a job is so hard. I can do it. I'm sure I can do it. I'm confident!" I pat her shoulder and softly put my head against hers. "Failure is the mother of success." I say as I remember reading that quote somewhere.
I took her home with me for a few days because she had nowhere to go and she managed to get into a job in the hotel she applied for a week ago. Happy, she jumps into my arms. "Oh Hobiya! I got the job. I have finally started!! My journey begins tomorrow!" I twirl her around in my arms and bury my nose in her hair. I'm genuinely happy for her. I put her down again, but her arms are still around my neck. Both of our smiling faces are near each other. She can't hide that she fell for me too. I lean over and close my eyes while tilting my head. I cup her head and place my lips on hers. Sharing a kiss like that. Our first kiss. A kiss filled with happiness. Mine for hers, and hers for having found a job. When I stop the kiss, I blink a few times and smile. "Our journey. Our journey begins now." I reply to what she said last. She nods. "Together." "Together." And I kiss her again, pulling her body against mine.
*End of flashback*
"Sora." "Hoseok." The two of them stand in front of each other again. For the first time in 7 years. "So I see you made it." "I could say the same to you." Both are quiet again. You can hear a pin drop if there was one falling. He looks at the cart. "Yet you haven't changed a bit. Still grovelling for others. Even with your high position." He smirks, trying to be mean because deep inside he doesn't want to allow her to see the hurt she left him with so many years ago. He tried his best to forget about her. After he became famous, the women practically threw themselves at him, but every relationship he had, he soon figured out that they were only into his fame, not into him. No one would have picked him up from the streets he once came from. No one would love him unconditionally like Sora did. All of them, no matter how genuine they felt, would still feel so fake to him. But unfortunately, one of them didn't give up on him. Even after pushing her away, telling her he could never love her because of his first love. She didn't care. She just needed to marry him for her family. So he agreed to an engagement with her.
"Did you really think I would want your truffles and caviar?" He puts the stulp back on it, and pushes the cart backwards mid-hallway. She folds her hands in front of her and bows her head. "I can bring you something else if that would be better?" She says, slightly trembling at his cold behavior. He used to thank her so much when she brought some of those high class foods to him, with the danger of losing her own job. "Still grovelling I see. Pathetic." He says and he grabs the champagne from the cart only and slams his door shut. Sora stares at the door. Her fists are clenched and she is seething. Who does he think he is? He used to be so fucking gratefull before, and in 7 years he became so impossible? Good riddance I'd say!! She pats herself on her shoulder. "You did well Sora. You'll be able to leave it all in the past now." She grabs the chart and moves back to the kitchen, leaving the food untouched. She just leaves the cart in the kitchen, not wanting to disturb Yoongi because he is in a mid-dinner rush. She walks away, heavily loaded by the emotions she is feeling. She knows every nook and cranny of the hotel and walks to her spot in the garden where she often goes to relax or escape.
