Luna Lovegood as Sharpay Evans: an energetic and proud student with a love of theatre and being the center of attention—particularly Harry's who employs her twin brother—Draco, in her schemes. (A/N: Luna isn't actually related to Draco but for these versions of the High School Musical movies, they're going to be related). Portrayed by: Evanna Lynch

Draco Malfoy as Ryan Evans: a member of the drama club who aids his twin sister, Luna, in sabotaging Ginny's relationship with Harry. Portrayed by: Tom Felton

Ron Weasley as Chad Danforth: Harry's best friend and member of the basketball team. Portrayed by: Rupert Grint

Hermione Granger as Taylor McKessie: captain of the school's scholastic decathlon team who shows Ginny the ropes of Hogwarts High. Portrayed by: Emma Watson.

Albus Dumbledore as Dave Matsui: principal at Hogwarts High. Portrayed by: Richard Harris

James Potter as Jack Bolton: Harry's father and the coach of the basketball team who believes that Ginny is a distraction from Harry's basketball career. Portrayed by: Adrian Rawlins (A/N: in the Harry Potter movies/books, he's killed by He Who Must Not Be Named, but for these versions of the High School Musical movies, he is going to be alive).

Cho Chang as Kelsi Neilson: an underappreciated pianist and composer who is initially shy and subservient to Luna. Portrayed by: Katie Leung

Cedric Diggory as Zeke Baylor: a member of the basketball team who enjoys baking and admires Luna. Portrayed by: Robert Pattinson

Neville Longbottom as Jason Cross: a member of the basketball team who tends to ask mundane questions in class. Portrayed by: Matthew Lewis

Nymphadora Tonks as Martha Cox: a peppy brainiac who enjoys hip-hop. Portrayed by: Natalia Tena
