"Druig..."

Makkari opens the door to see a dog sitting before her. She jumps up in exhilaration and runs over to it. Makkari has ALWAYS wanted a pet but had never been able to. You know, she sort of had to protect people, but now that that was all behind them, Makkari and Druig were able to start their own new life, together.

Makkari runs over to the dog and starts to pet it. The dog jumps onto her in excitement. Druig had rescued the dog from a fire when the previous owner set the house on fire to let it burn. Once Makkari was familiar with the news, she only stayed more attached to the dog. She never left that dog's side.

A month later

The dog was eventually given a name, Sienna, after they found she was a girl.

Druig had made it his mission to train Sienna to understand sign language, to be able to understand mommy of course. "Sienna!" Druig called. Sienna jumps off or her bed, leaps over to Druig, and crashes into his chest. "Woah..slow down there girl." Sienna stares into his eyes.

Druig looks over at Makkari, who was reading a book. He sets Sienna down and walks over to Makkari, sitting before her, tapping her leg. She looks down at him and smiles. "Hello!"

"Hi, love. I think Sienna wants to play with you. Want to take a break from the book for a little?" "Sure!"

Makkari eagerly jumps up and runs over to where Sienna is lying and sits down beside her, stroking her fur.

i am SO sorry this came so late. i've been busy and may or may not have forgotten about it... also, sorry this is so short. i will write more later, but for right now i'm going to lie down since my head is killing me.
