Jimin and Yoongi had just reached the village. The bustling life of the people of the kingdom was loud but calming for the prince. He got off his horse, paying the stable boy to take Crystal Snow. Jimin took a deep breath of the fresh air. It somehow seemed cleaner than inside the castle walls. He looked at Yoongi who stood next to him shooting glares at anyone who dared looking at him. Jimin giggled gently. “Loosen up, Yoongi hyung,” he said with a smile. He began to walk around looking at stalls and such, admiring the work of jewelry and paintings. He always loved to see the people and the way of their lives, he loved seeing the small children play freely with each other, he loved the smell of fresh bread that had just been cooked this morning.
As Jimin and Yoongi walked around, a certain brown haired boy, Jungkook, was also walking around. Jungkook looked at a loaf of freshly baked bread. The boy looked around to make sure no one was looking then grabbed it off the stall but before he could even blink, the baker was shouting for some guards. The boy quickly took off running, palace guards chasing behind and shouting at him to stop but the young boy knew he couldn't as he ran, he came barreling towards The Prince. He hit straight into Jimin, knocking them both over. Jungkook groaned in pain and looked down at Jimin. He admired his beauty but quickly realized he wasn't just another villager, he was The Prince in fact his eyes widened big in shock.
Jimin had been walking looking at stalls, when he felt a person slam into him, knocking the air out of his lungs. He looked up at the man that was currently on top of him, he felt his face flush red as he admired the boy's big doe like eyes, his dark brown hair and the mole that was under his thin but handsome pink lips. He gulped gently, and was about to say something when Yoongi pulled the man off him. He stood up brushing off his pants and looked up to see the palace guards trying to detain the scared male. Jimin bit his plumb lips. “Let him go,” he commanded the guards, who looked at him like he was crazy but reluctantly let Jungkook go. Jimin looked at Jungkook then at the guards, “May I ask, why are you trying to arrest this young man?” he asked as one of the guards stepped up. ”My Prince, he’s been caught stealing bread,” the guard said and Jimin hummed. He looked at jungkook. “Why do you need bread?” he asked him. Jungkook looked at the petite man in front of him. “For my mother and sister…..we don't have enough money to afford it,” he said, lowering his head. Jimins eyebrows furrowed. He looked at the guards. “Give him the bread,” he said in a stern voice and then walked up to jungkook. “How about I offer you a job at the castle,” he said to him. “We have more than enough rooms in the castle and your mother and sister can stay with you,” he said gently with a sweet and calming voice. Jungkook was shocked. “Yes, please, my prince, that would be a blessing,” he said and the guards picked up the bread, giving it to jungkook. Jimin smiled softly, “of course. You’ll start from tomorrow, we will have a carriage waiting for you in the morning, I will see you then.” Jimin then turned on his heels and left Yoongi trudging behind him, “If I may, Your Highness, your parents won't be happy with some random peasant coming to the castle.” Jimin sighed, “Yoongi, please stop with the formal names, you've known me since I was a kid and I don’t care about my parents they don't know what goes on. It’s final, prepare a carriage to be sent in the morning."
