You also follow behind, not wanting to look at the demon's body any longer. You didn't pity her no, not one bit. She killed humans, and she got what she deserved. But you couldn't help but feel that it was an extreme way of killing her.
"Don't be out here too long, Tanjiro" you say and also walk inside the building, following Tamayo and Yushiro down to the basement.

3RD POV
After a while of Tamayo looking after Nezuko and making sure your hand is wrapped properly, with Yushiro growling whenever Nezuko would hug Tamayo, and turning away with a red face when you and Tamayo would talk, Tanjiro had finally entered the house, if you could even call it that anymore.
"Tamayo-san! Yushiro-san?" Tanjiro calls "Over here! Over here!" Yushiro yells from where you all are, Tanjiro walks to the top of the basement stairs "Not that you need to come at all. But if you want to, then get down here." Yushiro says and you dead-pan.
"Yushiro.." Tamayo scolds "Only joking!".
"Hurry down, Tanjiro!" Tamayo calls "Oh, right!" Tanjiro says and walks down the stairs, Tanjiro sighs in relief "Nezuko!" he says as Nezuko runs over to him and gives him a big hug, while you stay in your spot, smiling slightly.

"Are you doing alright, Y/N? Is your hand fine?" Tanjiro asks worriedly and you just nod "Yes, I'm fine" what could you say, you aren't a woman of many words.
Tanjiro nods, " I moved her to the basement, where sunlight won't reach her, ahead of daybreak." Tanjiro watches in confusion as Nezuko runs away from him "Nezuko?" he asks.
Nezuko hugs Tamayo lovingly, making multiple tic marks form on Yushiro's face.
"Why, you! Step away from Lady Tamayo! That's rude!" he yells angrily "Stop it, Yushiro. I don't mind at all." Tamayo reassures and Yushiro immediately stops "Yes ma'am!" his cheeks go slightly pink and sparkles basically radiate off him.
'You have such a kind heart, Lady Tamayo. You're too beautiful to believe!' his admiring is cut short as Nezuko rubs his head happily "Cut... that... out.." Yushiro says angrily.
"Nezuko-san has been acting this way since she awoke. Do you think she's all right?" Tamayo ass worriedly. Tanjiro smiles "There's nothing to worry about. She's fine. She probably thinks you're part of our family" he explains.
Yushiro growls as he tries to push Nezuko's hand away "Cut it out!".
"Family?" Tamayo asks "But I thought the hypnosis placed on Nezuko only made humans look like family?" Tamayo asked, and you zoned out for a while.
'Nezuko must see Tamayo-san as Kie-san.. She reminds me of my mother, also. Though always smiling, instead of always crying.'
You zone back in as you watch Tamayo start crying slightly, making your eyes slightly widen.
"I-i'm so sorry! Nezuko!" Tanjiro yells "N-Nezuko! S-step away from her! You're being rude!" he continues but stops as Tamayo lowers her face into Nezuko's shoulder.
Your face softens slightly.
"Thank you.. Nezuko-san! Thank you!" Tamayo mutters, making even Yushiro's face soften.
"Yushiro and I will leave this region. We've gotten too close to Kibutsuji. We must conceal our whereabouts soon or it'll be dangerous for us. Not to mention, even if I think I've concealed my identity, when I interact with humans as a doctor, people sometimes see through me as a demon. The young and the elderly are particularly perceptive." Tamayo explains.
"Tanjiro-san, Y/N-san.." "Hai?" Tanjiro answers "Would you like us to take Nezuko-san in? " she offers making Yushiro gasp and shake his head with a weird face "I can't give you an absolute guarantee shell be safe, but I believe it will be less dangerous than taking her into battle.
Tanjiro thinks about it for a moment, which you decide against, you know it's Tanjiro's choice, it's his sister after all.
Tanjiro's thought process is interrupted as Nezuko grabs his hand, Tanjiro gasps slightly, before smiling.
"Tamayo-san, thank you so much for your concern. But.. Nezuko and us are staying together (grammar who?). We're not going to split up." Tanjiro says making Yushiro sigh a breath of relief.
Tamayo smiles "Very well. In that case, I wish you long-lasting good fortune in battle." You nod.
Yushiro crosses his arms and turns his head away "Goodbye, then. We'll be leaving after we erase all traces of ourselves. You three get going now!" Tanjiro smiles "Right!".
"Tamayo-san, Yushiro-san, we wish you well!" You nod and bow politely "Let's go, Nezuko, Y/N" Nezuko runs off up the stairs "Hey!" Tanjiro calls "Don't go rushing off like that!" he yells "I'll go after her" you say and head up the stairs.
Once you and Nezuko were both out of sight Yushiro calls to Tanjiro, making him turn back "Your little sister and friend... are beautiful" he says with a red face, though only for one of them, he ain't no pedo.
Tanjiro smiled and laughed slightly, missing his red face and also rushing off upstairs.
