Sibling fight

Loki and Thor get into arguments a lot its not unusual but this is the first time the avengers witnessed it and it was brutal, Thor and Loki had an argument about who's taking the throne Loki didn't wanna take it and neither did Thor

"I'm not taking the fucking Throne do you know how much responsibility that is? for those two years alone i've had to go through so much responsibility and everyone expected so much from me" Tony could hear it a room away and him and the other avengers couldn't help eavesdropping

"And you don't think people expect anything from me??? I'm a Avenger and a prince i don't need to balance saving the world and ruling a kingdom at the same time its so stressful" Thor replied just as angry

"See! You know its stressful and you leave it to me because when you don't want it i have to get it you drop your responsibilities on me and expect everything to be fine!" Loki has never been more angry in his entire life

"That's not what i mean and i know it" it went on for what it seemed like hours until Loki had enough and stormed out of the base, and the look of regret formed in Thor's face

Peter followed Loki and Bruce decided to follow Thor back to his room after seeing the pure fear in Thor's eyes, meanwhile with Peter and Loki Peter was running behind Loki who teleported to the roof but Peter knew exactly where Loki was going

"Hey what's wrong" Peter walked sitting down next to Loki who was sitting on the very edge of the roof "why'd you run away?"

Loki didn't respond so Peter sat down trying to get Loki to talk about it because he's not the kind of person to share his feelings

This is not the first time it happened, Loki likes to bottle up his feelings he doesn't like sharing them he bottles it up and when he's alone it spills

Soon enough Loki was able to rant about it, she spilled her thoughts out to Peter and the only reason she did is because..its Peter

Peter knows what Loki's feeling the rage and the responsibility you don't wanna take on this sudden responsibility of having to take care of people knowing their life could be on the line any moment

That's how Peter felt after seven months being Spiderman, and honestly he couldn't blame Loki for not wanting to take that responsibility either

Don't get him wrong he likes being Spiderman but when you know you could be in charge of of someone's life is scary and having that feeling most of the time makes you miserable

Meanwhile with Thor and Bruce Thor was crying realising how much he fucked up and Bruce is trying to calm him down

Thor is a crier sometimes he doesn't bottle up his emotions and basically has no filter but when he cries you know its bad especially with the god of thunder thing meaning if he cries it equals rain

And it means a lot of rain but this time there was no rain, because Bruce was their to calm Thor down before it became a problem

Bruce feels for Thor, i mean they've been dating for about almost six years now and they mean the universe to each other so they understand each other very well

"Hey he's not ready and neither are you, Heimdall is there for the time so don't start talking about it until a choice has to be made" Bruce advised hugging Thor who was still a little shaken up

"Yes that..that would be reasonable" Thor sighed before breaking out into a smile and bringing Bruce's face close to place a small kiss on his cheek "thank you my love"

And bruce felt his heart flutter that word got him every time "my love" its become a safe word for him whenever Hulk gets a little too mad it calms him after nightmares and overall makes him feel better

After a bit of negotiating between both Thor and Bruce they agreed Thor had to apologise for putting Loki on the spot like that

Thor got really worried when Loki wouldn't come back to the compound but Tony assured him that Peter and Loki are not gonna take long they're just talking

After a while they did come back but Peter was asleep in Loki's arms after they put him to bed Tony asked Loki what happened because he saw red under Peter's eyes

"We were talking and it got emotional causing him to cry himself to sleep in my arms" Loki said chuckling after a moment of silence

After an hour or two Thor finally plucked up the courage to talk to Loki who was making popcorn in the kitchen since its movie night staring at the glass window looking at the stars

Thor just walked up to her and before he could say a thing Loki threw herself onto Thor hugging him knowing exactly what he wanted to say

"Its ok, i forgive you" just then did Thor notice how tired Loki sounded and how her heart was pumping so fast Thor felt himself start to shake

"sibling" Thor let go of Loki for a bit to feel his forehead "are you ok?"

"Mentally? No,physically.." Loki tried to continue his dark joke but felt himself start to get numb and weak "i'm tired"

He closed his eyes feeling himself slowly fall and someone catching him, she can hear her name being called out but she couldn't respond until she tried to open her eyes

"Loki!" Thor was shaking Loki looking pale, Loki sat up to realise they were in their bed

"Thor?" They said their voice raspy "what happened"

"You fell asleep in my arms and your heart was beating fast but Bruce told me you just needed some rest and after a few minutes i hear you screaming and" he let a sob escape " i started shaking you because you wouldn't answer-"

"Thor Thor Thor" Loki tried to calm Thor down because not only would Thor crying mean immense rain but also a thunder storm

"I'm sorry" Thor calmed down after a few minutes and stayed with Loki for the rest of the night, it turned out to be a old memory Loki had trapped himself in unconsciously and it wasn't the first time

Loki remembers she did it before consciously after Odin got really mad at her for something which resulted to Frigga having to stay with her all night

It was you could say a way of coping, a way of escaping reality, knocking yourself out whether it be consciously or unconsciously after a big fight or something else happened which increases your hearts speed trying to wake you up and keep you alive

Turns out Demigods have something in common with humans after all, bruce explained how its a way to cope especially for people with PTSD

but in the end of the day it all got solved and from now on Loki will be seeing a therapist like he should've done decades ago.
