You woke up the next morning with puffy eyes and just tired as you've cried yourself to sleep yesterday. You were still processing the whole divorce thing. Not to mention moving away from your old home in the middle of the night.
Your thoughts were interrupted by your mom
"How'd you sleep last night? You look tired" your mom says looking at your tired face.
"I'm fine, what's wrong?", you said looking at your mom.
Your mom gave you a nice black dress and signalled you to put it on and get in the car after.
You wore the dress and went in the car as your mom drove away.
You decided to sleep on the way cause you were tired
After a few minutes your mother woke you up. You looked around and saw a huge school. You knew right away this would be your new school.
"Come on now, we don't have the whole day" you mother said hurrying you.
"It's a Saturday mom, why do I have to go to school on a Saturday" you asked curiously.
"Oh silly dear we're just here to sign you in the school" you mother chuckled.
You and your mom walked in the school and got greeted by a friendly woman who looked like she was in her late 40s.
"Hello welcome to the University of Harvard!! I'm the principle in this school. My name is Annie so you can just call me Miss Annie. I heard you're hear to be a transfer student am I correct?" she said quickly as she was excited.
"You bet we are! I'm Michelle and this is my daughter Y/n" your mother said smiling politely.
"Ahh I see and how old are you Miss Y/n?" she asked.
"I'm 17 Miss Annie" you said.
"Alright now let go to my office and have a cup of tea as we discuss about the school?" she politely requested.
"Sure, we would love to" my mother said still having the same smile plastered on her face.
You then follow the principle walking through the hallway admiring all the awards and certificates this school has gotten until you reached the principle's office.
"Please take a seat" the principle said signalling me and my mom to sit down.
After what seemed like an eternity they were done talking and the principle happily excepted me in this school. My mother happily took me back home.
