Side Story-3 (Choi Han is Banned from the Kitchen)

[so what is this atrocity?] (Cale)

Cale pointed to a plate before him which was supposed to be something edible? He wasn't sure.

[a-atrocity..](Choi Han)

Choi Han was the one who prepared the dish. Cale observed the dish and Choi Han' getup.

[you were cooking right?] (Cale)

He commented on Choi Han's clothes which were tattered here and there. It would be more believable if he said he had just fought a battalion alone.

[..Cale-nim..the thing is..] (Choi Han)

He started to explain what had happened a few hours ago.

[I have a new recipe for Cale-nim! Let me use the kitchen!] (Choi Han)

Choi Han exclaimed as he tried to get inside the kitchen.

[no. Just give me the recipe. I will make it instead of you. We can't serve Young Master something that will upset his stomach.] (Beacrox)

He was the one holding off Choi Han from entering the kitchen. Choi Han had 'helped' in the kitchen once and Beacrox was done asking for anymore help after that.

Today he had given up quite easily. Sighing with relief Beacrox continued on with his work.

After some time Raon and Hong came to the kitchen searching for him.

[Lets go to the market to buy food Uncle Beacrox!] (Raon and Hong)

[ah right. Young Master went on a walk with On.please Wait a bit and I'll be done.] (Beacrox)

Both of them were excited for some reason but he didn't think too much about it since he knew the two were the more energetic from among the group. Soon he was done with his work and headed out to the Market with them. As soon as they left Choi Han entered the kitchen.

[He's weak to the kids.](Choi Han)

He nodded with satisfaction as he closed the kitchen doors. He was the one who gave the kids the idea of shopping with Beacrox.

Cale had gone to his usual walks with On and normally they returned in time for dinner.

[i have a few hours at best so I should start now. ]

He fumbled through the ingredients and started preparing a Korean Dish for Cale.

And soon Cale had arrived along with On. They seemed to have already had their dinner.

[I have some space for a bite or two but nothing more. Is it fine?] (Cale)

[of course! I will bring it right away!](Choi Han)

Present time-

[and here we are] (Choi Han)

[what do you mean here we are? You skipped over almost everything.] (Cale)

Cale scrunched his nose as he smelt the charred Korean Dish which wasn't identifiable at all.

[..are you going to eat that? ] (On)

She was sitting on the sofa near them.

[...you're really going to eat it?] (On)

She asked Cale again who had a serious look as he took some of the 'food' in his mouth. Seeing this Choi Han brightened up.

[As always Cale-nim is a kind person! I will try my best again next time.] (Choi Han)

Cale ignored him and quickly ate it. He drank water right after it and wiped off his face after putting his fork down.

[..from tomorrow Choi Han is officially banned from the kitchen. You will need to have at least three experts with you if you wish to enter the kitchen.] (Cale)

Cale as always was blunt with his words. If he half-assed his reaction then Choi Han would really try his best next time. His cooking might improve with a few tries but he didn't want to be the judge for all of them.

[You need to be familiar with the ways of the Kitchen of this world. You were out in the wild for too long.] (Cale)

He was referring to how Choi Han was from another world. And had just started to actually settle in a proper civilization.

[ah. You are a quick learner so it should be fine. It might take some time and lot of failures. ](Cale)

As he left Cale sighed as he called some maids to take the 'food' away.
