[Please show me around the city today!]

Cale was sitting on a rocking chair in his room when I requested that.

[I heard there was a guest. It was you, Rosalyn] ( Cale)

Today the children weren't here too so he was going to make use of this chance to the fullest but I have to keep going on.

[the New Year is almost here. I heard the Henituse Territory has one of the greatest celebration.]

[well we are filthy rich after all. ] ( Cale)

One more time and he will agree!

[Please show me around the city today! ]

[Cale! This one is very tasty! ]

We were busy strolling around the city. There was a snack that I've never seen before and to my pleasant surprise it was rather tasty.

[That's one of the new dishes made by Beacrox and Choi Han. Let me have a bite.] ( Cale)

He leaned in for the snack. Times like these is what reminds me that he is really carefree. But well...I don't mind it so I let him take a bite.

[Pretty good. Beacrox really is the bigger contributor. ] ( Cale)

[i noticed it before from the way you subtly slander Choi Han but is he that bad of a cook?]

I asked to him and he nodded immediately.

[Anyways it might be crowded but I have a place in mind, want to drop by there?](Cale)

[sure!]

There was no reason to refuse since he was the most familiar with the territory after all.

I followed after him and soon we reached a tea shop. It was called The Fragrance of Tea with Poetry. It looked pretty high end and classy? I was pretty surprised.

[i used to visit here. The third floor has a good view.] ( Cale)

He said as he went right in through the door. A quiet but clear sound of bell announced his arrival. And it didn't take much time for the people inside to realize who it was. As they were muttering in excitement trying to keep their cool, a middle aged man greeted Cale.

[we have the third floor open for you as instructed by top management.]

He said and led us to the third floor. The third floor was more well kept and in contrast to the lower floor it lacked any customers.

[Have a seat. They are going to bring their best tea. ] ( Cale)

He was already seated while I observed the details of the well kept and classy place.

[shouldn't you at least offer a seat to a lady? Young Master Cale? ]

I acted offended as I took my seat in front of him.

[did you want me to? I'll take note next time.] (Cale)

It was clear that he was genuinely surprised. I didn't know what to reply with so I instead gazed at the view outside the window. I was dazed and only knew about the tea after hearing a soft clack from Cale's cup. I've picked up his habit of dazing off.

[you should have told me. I was absentmindedly gazing outside.]

I fake coughed softly to retain my composure. He was still staring at me. I started to get more flustered.

[is it that embarrassing that I absentmindedly-]

[How are things going since then? ] ( Cale)

He asked ending my mutterings. Since then..

[I am doing well. As you say I'm taking breaks whenever I can just like today!]

I nodded to assure him I was doing fine. His mouth opened but before he could reply the sound of fireworks distracted me. My gaze went out and the night sky was filled with many colorful fireworks.

[wow!!]

I have seen fireworks before but seeing it now felt somehow more amazing.

[They sure made it flashy.] (Cale)

I turned to him who was admiring the sight..his red hair glistened with the lights of the fireworks..his side profile was sharp as always..

I shook my head as I found myself dazing off looking at Cale. The firework. I need to concentrate on that.

[every thing will fall in place as time goes on. There's no need to rush too much. ] ( Cale)

I looked at him. He was still gazing at the fireworks.

There's no need to rush huh.. That's right. I don't need to confirm right away why ever since that day I started to think about Cale more than usual. Or why seeing the fireworks I have seen so many times before is more exciting when it's with him. Or moments when I find myself searching for Cale and smiling at him. There's no need to put a name on what I'm feeling.

[it will soon be a new year. ]

[thats right. One more year passed knowing you. Me and the others will be in your care next year and more years to come. ] ( Cale)

There's no need to put a name on what I'm feeling right now. There's no need to rush. Just having them feels fulfilling for now.

[I'll be in your care as well.]

He nodded as his gaze returned back to the fireworks. And mine.. on him.

I inadvertently let out a sigh.

[I couldn't be happier!]

I whispered ever so softly as I felt my smile widening. I couldn't focus on the fireworks anymore after that.
