"Good morning."
Light filled the room as the curtains were pushed aside and the warm summer breeze hit the room. Harry groaned and put one of his five pillows over his head. It was way too early, he didn't know the time, but it was unmistakably way too early.
"Fuck off," He muttered as he heard Louis remeging through his room. It had been one week since he got there and things weren't better, in fact, they were worse.
"Honestly, get up. Anne said you're supposed to take me to the school's pre-program workshop," He said, and threw one of the pillows that had fallen to the floor in Harry's face, knocking the pillow he had over his head down causing him to rub his eyes in annoyance as light blinded him.
"You sure she didn't say pre-school?" He teased and sat up, the blanket around his waist since he was only in briefs.
"Very." Louis sat on the small sofa in Harry's room, reading what looked like 'The perks of being a Wallflower'. Harry stared at him, very irritated.
"Can I help you?" He asked.
"Nah, I'm good, just hurry up will ya?" He didn't even look up.
"Yeah, I will, but would you mind stepping out? I'm only in my briefs." He was really annoyed right now.
"Wow, you're such a baby, just hurry up alright. I'll make you a 'to-go' sandwich or something." Louis closed the book and stepped out, it wasn't before he was shutting the door that Harry noticed he'd taken it with him.
"Hey! My book!"
He didn't answer, though, and left Harry frustrated and tired. He looked over to the clock on the wall '9:07 am'. Like he thought. Way too early.
"There you are." Louis smiled brightly and handed him a sandwich with cheese and ham as he came downstairs.
"What's up your ass - ow!" Harry winced as Louis stepped hard on his foot. He gestured for an explanation as Louis continued smiling. Louis pointed towards the living room and soon enough, Anne was coming up to them.
"Harry, are you okay, darling?" she asked with concern.
"Oh, yeah. I just ... stubbed my toe, nothing to worry about," he said. "Was asking Louis what was up with him today since he's so kind, making me breakfast and all."
"Just very excited to get into the school spirit." Louis smiled at Anne.
"Bet you are. Have fun, I'll be out tonight with some girls from work, so you'll be alone."
"Okay, you have fun too." Harry smiled. Des was out of town for a business matter and would be back in three days, so Anne had taken the opportunity to plan many events with her 'girls from work'.
Louis grabbed the car keys, which caused Harry to narrow his eyes in mistrust. Louis only raised his eyebrows in response. Once they were outside, Harry made an attempt to retrieve them but Louis easily dodged his 'attack' and laughed in amusement.
"I'm driving today," he said proudly.
Harry broke down laughing at that. "You wish," he said, and gave another attempt at getting the keys, much to his unsuccess as Louis dodged him, again. It turned into somewhat of a hunt, as Harry tried taking the keys and Louis ran away. Because yes, now he was running, and Harry was chasing after him.
"You twat, just give me the keys!" He called after him as Louis rounded the corner of their house into the backyard. When Harry did the same however, the boy wasn't there. He stood a minute, in confusion, until he heard a honk. The fucker. He walked back to the driveway to find Louis behind the steering wheel, checking himself in the mirror. As Harry stepped up to the driver's door and tried to open it, he realised it was locked. He gave some desperate pulls of the handle before giving up and glaring at Louis who was smirking down at him from inside the car. "I'll kill you," Harry mouthed and stepped around the car, sitting in the passenger seat.
