The shopaholics of the Raizada family arrived from their useless and compulsive shopping and they were surprised seeing Akash in the lounge vigorously typing on his laptop.

Mami rolled her eyes knowing he is this early at home because of Payal.

Since his marriage to Payal, he has become more confrontational and very protective of Payal and KHUSHI to an extent that she always feared bullying them and making them her slaves like she had wanted and Arnav promised has gone down the drain.

She still shudders remembering the time his son raise his voice at her and she saw a scarier avatar than ASR and her husband supported him and threatened to divorce her.

Flashback.

It's been three weeks since the marriage of Payash and the elopement of Arshi and Mami has left no stone on turned to taunt and hurt Khushi with her words and her hatred for Payal has increased since Payal never left Khushi's side and always back answered Mami with the most befitting and colourful words which always left her dumbfounded.

She was even madder because no one defended like she thought they would since they were angry at Khushi and on top of it all Arnav barely spoke to them.

One evening during dinner, Khushi and Payal like the dutiful daughter-in-laws they were cooked and arranged the food for the entire family even though Akash, Manohar and surprisingly Arnav was against it but they insisted to cook for the family.

Everyone was present except Shyam who had as usual disappeared.

Payal sat by Akash who winked at her and she blushed and looked away which didn't go unnoticed by Mami who was fuming seeing the love in his son's eyes for Payal and his protectiveness of both sisters was making her boil in rage.

Khushi sat by Akash far away from Arnav like she always has since her marriage.

"Hello hi bye...... Khoon bari taang...... Pati Saree..... Won't you serve us? " Mami said in a humiliating tone and Akash, Nani and Manohar glared at her but Anjali didn't care since she was angry at Arnav and Khushi and Arnav was enjoying the hurt look on Khushi's face.

"They are the daughter-in-law of this house, not you personal servants to serve you. " Akash growled sending shivers down Mami's spine and Manohar smiled at his son.

"Hello hi bye bye... It's khoon bari taang and Phati saree's duty. " Mami said in a challenging tone and Akash who had had enough stood up fuming in rage and slammed his hand on the table making the table shake and everyone including Arnav flinched in shock seeing Akash like that.

"My wife's name is Payal and my sister's name is Khushi...... I have warned you Mrs Manorama Singh Raizada to desist from calling them name but you won't stop and I don't blame since there are people here who encourage you by keeping quiet. " Akash exclaimed in anger throwing a disgusted look at Arnav, Anjali and Nani and back to his mother who was shivering in her seat. "But I won't...... They can easily call all of us names but don't out of respect...... All they have ever done in this house is to gain your acceptance but no...... If it had been di then everyone will jump to her defence..... If di had been mistreated by her in laws then I know some people who won't let them live in peace. " Anjali looked down in shame knowing she indirectly contributed to all of this. "So what if they eloped, I know two people sitting right here who also eloped for their reason. " Akash looked at his father and apologized. "Am sorry papa."

"Don't be son...... You are telling the truth...... I did elope with your mother because I knew my mother wouldn't approve of me marrying a common housemaid and as the years went by I finally understood her. " Manohar said looking straight at Mami who knew the meaning behind his words.
