The girl opened her eyes at the next day at 9:40 am, feeling like she woke up from a ten days long sleep.
"Lisa?"
She looked at her left and there she saw another woman sitting on the single armchair.Lisa's mouth felt dry and her tongue didn't move to speak a word.
"noona, I'll go out and bring you both something to eat" Jungkook spoke to his older sister and took a look at the young woman on the bed.
She looked emotionless.Lisa finally came back to her senses and remembered everything that happened the last night. She felt like crying and shouting, but nothing happened. She was like a skeleton with moving eyes.
Some hours passed and Lisa finally went home, took some of her child's clothes and moved them closer to her nose, sniffing her daughter's smell. Her eyes got watery again for the first time ever since she woke up this morning.
It wasn't easy for her. For someone who couldn't live without their daughter. For a mother who loved and felt love from her daughter the most.
"Lisa?"
A man's voice was heard from outside of the room. Most likely her brother's voice. Before she even knew it, her whole body was being hugged by him, softly caressing her head and rubbing her back.
"I'm sorry for not being here on the right time. I'm sorry for being the cause of Achara's death. If I came some hours earlier, I would have gave her all my blood" his tears rolled down his cheek over and over again and it made Lisa cry even more.
Lisa shook her head and tried removing the dried tears on her brother's cheeks with her shaking hands. "N-No, it was my fault and I deserve to die, not her" no matter what others tell her, she wouldn't agree to them saying it was only an accident and it's not her fault.
As much as her brother wanted to tell her about it to make her stop thinking this way, his fiancée came into the room and hugged them both tightly.
About two days passed after that day. The funeral of the small girl was held and nothing more happened than that, except for the Jeon family visiting them more than before and Lisa locking herself up in her room the whole time, without any food or drink.
Almost one day passed since she last opened the door and she's that stubborn that she wants to live her sadness alone. Crying alone, being alone.
A quiet knock was heard from the door, but she didn't bother to unlock the door or ask who it was, thinking it was her brother again.
"Lisa?"
The one tear that wanted to roll down the cheek didn't even come out of her eye after hearing that voice."Are you fine there?"
Another question came from the young man outside the room."Can you open the door for me?"
His gentle voice was making the girl's heart and body feel safe. She unlocked the door really slowly and opened it just a little, giving him the idea of her allowing him to go in.Jungkook took the opportunity and went in, slowly too.
Her sight, they way she was looking lost while looking at her daughter's still unwashed shirt made Jungkook feel something he never felt in her past. Something new.
The girl's sobs got louder and louder with every step he took.
"what's the meaning of living when the person you love the most isn't there and never would be there anymore?"
"Don't think so, Lisa. You're strong, you can go through this and you would be happy in the near future. I'm sure your daughter isn't happy in heaven seeing you crying like this"
He sat on the bed and faced her with sad looking eyes that were worried about her."You don't know how it feels like. M-my daughter isn't here anymore. She wouldn't wake me up with her kisses every morning from today on... She wouldn't be here to watch any movies with me... She...she wouldn't be here anymore" Lisa pulled her legs to her body and put her head on her knees. Too much pain, too much.
Jungkook's heart broke into small pieces, making him pull her to his arms. She needed a hug from someone and she was glad it was someone who has a warm embrace.
Jungkook pulled her even closer to himself and put both of his hands on her back. Their hug was tight and warm, just like Lisa wanted and needed it. So tight that if anyone did a wrong move, something big would have happened.
Some days passed and the Manoban family was still silent the whole time. They weren't being joyful like they once used to be. Their home felt cold.
Lisa wasn't getting any better. She still would lock herself up in her room and cry the whole time. But the Manoban family found out that the only one to be able to calm lisa down was no one else than Jeon Jungkook.
He would come to them everyday and make her eat something or hug her to calm her down. It surprised them to see it working.
Jungkook was like someone from their family already.Another day came, another cold atmosphere was expected to be in the Manoban family's so called home.
Jungkook wasn't sure if he could come or not, so the first thing he did was telling his aunt—his real aunt that he knows about—about it.
It made Lisa sad that she wasn't going to be with him for a day. She was used to him around her that she couldn't even think about a day without him. Not forgetting that Lisa used to be in love with this person. The person she loves is finally with her everyday, what else would she want?
But despite everything, she is still very very sad and broken because of her daughter's death.
