Yeji and Yeonjun- MEMORY (V)

Lia's face was more shocked than anyone was inside the dorm when she saw that Haebi was behind that door. The person who hurt and ruined Yeji's life for the past couple months. From her point of view, Haebi was like the daugther of the most evil living being on this earth. "Is it okay if we come in?" Yeonjun asked politely. Yeji was confused once again as to why they are in their dorm but she couldn't say no to her bestfriend. "Yes, come on in." She a gave a winding smile. Haebi was surprised that Yeji did not remember her. "Have a seat. Yuna can you get them a glass of water and juice please." Ryunjin kept a slight distance from them all, but just enough so that she won't be near to slapping Haebi's face.

Lia sat with Yeji on the couch across from Yeonjun and his sister. "What brings you both here?" Lia asked as she acted normal. "My sister just wanted to..." Yeonjun hesitated for a second and then Haebi stepped in. "I just wanted to accompany my little brother. That's all." She gave the fakest smile and Lia knew it. Yeonjun nodded. "Yeah.. um. I just wanted to tell you that I'm sorry for not telling you who I was before we met at the carnival. It was selfish of me." He added. "Forget it Yeonjun. that's all in the past okay? Besides, you are my bestfriend. I cannot forgive myself if our friendship were to end." Yeonjun smiled with her reply and started to tell a story.

It was a brief little story when Yeji and him were still in Pre- School.

Yeji was happy hearing the story of both of them. While Yeonjun kept on going, Yeji's hands started to shake as soon as she looked at Haebi smiling. She and was feeling uncomfortable from the sight of Haebi. Everyone was only starting to enjoy his cute stories, Chaeryeong and Yuna for the most part. 

Lia and Ryunjin looked at Yeji's hand starting to shake in the middle of a good conversation. "Okay story's over." Lia pulled Yeonjun up and to their front door as Ryujin went to check up on Yeji. Haebi noticed Yeji and went to follow her brother afterwards. "But wait." Yeonjun shocked. "She's right Yeonjun. Now is not the right time for good old stories that were already ruined." Haebi took Lia's hands off of him and forced Yeonjun to go back to her car. "Were going home." Yeonjun wanted to atleast say goodbye, but nonetheless, it wasn't a good idea.

Back in the dorm, Yeji started to hear noises in her head. More like Haebi's voice from her memories. 

*voices* "Yeonjun will never be the right man for you.""Our family will never accept you." "Who are you to barge in here.""Attention seeker." "Yeonjun..." "That girl..." "Get her out of my sight!" 

There were more noises that was starting to trigger Yeji's memories as she started to cover her ears from the sinuses ringing. She leaned her back to the couch and held Ryujin's hands. "Unnie, are you alright?" She said in a worriedly voice. Despite the pain and headache, Yeji managed to breath and open her eyes. She looked downwards and wiped her tears with both hands. "I'm fine...I'm fine." Yeji faked a smile at Ryujin and ran back to her room. 

Lia went back and found only Ryujin and Chaeryeong in the room. "Where is she? Is she okay?" A moment of silence occured. "I think she remembers Haebi unnie." Chaeryeong finally spoke. "Yuna went up to check on her. Let's just all calm down."

Yuna took a glass of water and went upstairs to check on Yeji's condition. She knocked on her door, but no answer. "Unnie...It's me, Yuna." Yeji slowly opening the door with tears in her eyes and let her in. Yuna immediatley gave her a hug and softly patted her back to comfort her. "Unnie what happened back there?"

"I kept hearing these voices...from a girl? She kept saying horrible things about me and Yeonjun and I can't help but think it was all my fault." Yeji sat down and sniffs a little. Yuna was speechless but she knew, right away,  that it was Haebi's voice. "First Yeonjun, and now, this?" Yeji added. "I don't know what's happening to me Yuna."

Yuna had to keep everything about their horrible pass so she made up some type of make believe and applied it to Yeji's situation. "Unnie, this may seem odd but I think those voices you were hearing were from a show you've watch before. I remember you watching it over and over again because you loved it so much. You and Yeonjun oppa actually watch it together. Always. It was romantic and had drama in it too. Maybe that's why you heard him too?" Yeji nods. "You really believe so?" Yeji drank the glass of water. "Yes." 

The story managed to convinced Yeji in some way, but was still anxious over what she heard. 

"And Unnie..." Yuna sincerely looked at Yeji. "I know you're still having a hard time remembering your past but, don't exhaust yourself. Please. It's about time to start a new and awesome life with your members, with us. We love you Yeji unnie."

Yeji had another flash, but it was quick. Just enough to see Haebi's face in her memory. Yeji looked back at Yuna and gave the slightest smile. "You're right. Thanks Yuna." Yuna closed Yeji's door and went back downstairs.

By the looks of Yeji's eyes, she was willing to know everything about her past. Including those voices of Haebi. "Haebi..." Yeji breathed in deeply.

* "Now is not the right time for good old stories that were already ruined." *She recognized the sound of her voice from earlier. It was the exact same on from the voices in her head. 

"Who are you, really?"

Downstairs, everyone was waiting for a response from Yuna. "How is Yeji?" Lia asked. "She's fine...now, atleast. I gave her a different explanation about the voices she was hearing earlier. It seemed to work." Yuna walking to the couch. "What do you mean voices?" Chaeryeong confused. "Haebi's." "She was remembering the nasty little lies that girl babbled to Yeji." Lia managed to keep herself calm. "Look, we cannot let Yeonjun or that evil sister he has, ruin what we tried so hard to get back. Yeji is the most important to us and we cannot let them hurt her again. Everyone understand?" Lia added her point. 

"Lia's right. Protect Yeji unnie at all costs. She cannot remember the accident...Never." Ryujin drank her juice and everyone went back to their rooms and turned the lights off, goodnight.
