Danganronpa 4: A Hope that overcomes all despair

Prologue

My name is Naomi Hinata and today is the day I start my first week of school at the prestigious high school known as Hope's Peak Academy, the school filled with ultimates who are the very best at what they do.
Called more formally
"super high school level ___".
These students are the very best in their fields at basically anything.
(of course there just high schoolers so there may be adults who are great at their fields too but for there age, there the best.)
if the school thinks it a worthy talent, you may be scouted. They are scouted by the academy, there's not even any entire exams.
You don't even have to pay, it's all government funded anyways.
"The school picks you" My father had told me many times.
Of course he and Nagito know that, they went themselves.
But I never actually believed in my "luck", out of all things, who knew "lady luck" would have in enpact on my intelligence and education.
Anyway as stated, I've been chosen as the "Ultimate lucky student" basically meaning i was chosen just by chance, in a japan wide lottery.
I know, luck isn't really a talent I'd be too keen on having, but Nagito went to Hope's Peak as a lucky student.
So have many others before and after him. It's basically a tradition that they do every year.
However if you manage to get selected and you graduate, you'll be set for life.
JUST by going to this high school.
Like any student, I'm beyond terrified.
It's not just the new atmosphere, it's the fact that this school has a very dark past.
I only know a few things about the school's past. I witnessed some of it and others I've just been told by nagito.
Hajime however, doesn't think I should know anything about it, since it involves him and nagito.
I guess he's a bit embarrassed.., that will suck for him whenever we have history lessons about it. Yep you heard me right, the events in this school's past are so important that they are known all over the world.
Or well, impacted the whole world- I guess you'd like me to explain the events now... 
I won't keep you waiting any longer- The events I'm talking about are more formally known as "Hope's peak's the biggest most awful despair inducing  event in history of mankind."
I'm not even lying, that's literally what it's called. It started off when Hope's peak introduced a new kind of course for regular, normal students to attend. This would be called the "reserve course".
These students would have to pay hugde fees and finances just in order to attend.
This course however, is not like the main course us ultimates attend.
The reserve course is just normal every day classes, but the only thing different from a normal high school course is that they are at Hope's peak.
The reserve course envid the main course so much they were ready to believe anything. The only thing they didn't know was that they were just lab rats.
The academy officials just wanted to experiment on one regular normal student (Hajime hinata was the one they had decided on) that would attend the reserve course.
With all the money they were getting from the other students enrolled in the course.
They tested on Hajime hoping to make "the ultimate hope" a person with every talent known to mankind.
Of course, nothing like that is possible unless you go to extremes, so naturally, they went to extremes by pushing all memories and personality of the previous student into the deepest darkest place in their mind, where not even he could remember his old name.
So after they had successfully created the students' new identity they decided to re-name him Izuru Kamukura after the founder of hope's peak.
(this project that they did on him would later be named the izuru kamukura project.)  They were able to keep him hidden and out of the public eye until one girl named Junko Enoshima found out about him due to her analytical thinking skills.  Not long after with her desire to fill the whole world with despair she created the first known mutual killing game, everyone was killed except for izuru.
(who she had forced him to join her) Little did anyone know she was recording the whole thing. She manipulated the footage making it seem like izuru was the mastermind behind the entire events. In response, the reserve course students protested for many weeks after that.
During that time junko was able to force the other students into despair, then shortly after she hosted 2 other killing games.
And that's all I know, well I'm  going to be late if I don't leave now.
I slowly walked out putting one foot in front of the other, closing my eyes
. I tried to set my nerves aside.
I took my very first step in the new school I would be spending my high school life in!.
